Stopped here on my lunch break for something fast. Love that they have a table outside for seating. I got a signature sushi bowl. It was the perfect size and I added pineapple to mine! Also definitely spicy!

Very good sushi with happy hour specials! We didn’t like the noodle bowl nor shelled edamame, but who cares when you have amazing sushi?! Half off sushi on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 5-7pm!

Sushi is good, and they have a half off deal which is pretty fire. BUT, they only gave us this much ginger.... and hardly any wasabi!! :(( Sad.

Best Sushi/Poke I've ever had. Will come back to Charleston just to eat here again! Honestly if you like poke it's a must try. You won't regret it. I got the BLUE HEAVEN and regret not getting a second.

We were in the mood for some sushi, so we decided to give Poke San a try. We took advantage of their generous happy hour menu (1/2 off sushi rolls). At first, I tried ordering from their website, but it didn't seem that well set up so we called our order in for takeout. We got 5 rolls to make sure we didn't end up hungry. We got the Rainbow Roll, Yellowtail Jalapeno Roll, Spicy Combo Roll, Deluxe Crunch Roll, and Eel Mango Roll. The 3 rolls we liked best were the rainbow, deluxe crunch, and spicy combo rolls. I wasn't a huge fan of the combination of mango and cream cheese in the eel mango roll.If you are looking for affordable sushi downtown, you should check out Poke San during happy hour (which they also have on Saturdays as well).

Found out that they offered happy hour take out so we decided to try it out. Went down for Shane's birthday dinner for our first visit. Cute little place on the corner, there were 4 people standing outside and one inside picking up. We walked in and was greeted And We were given a menu to look over. We sat down at a table to talk about our choices and decided on a few rolls. We placed our order and went to wait outside. The inside of the restaurant had a few tables and 2 bar areas to sit at. The decor was 70's with the blue and purple chair/stool coverings but subtle not or your face. Overall it looked to have a capacity of 25 ish. Once we got our food, took about 20 minutes, we went to the battery and sat in the grass and ate. Watched the boats on the water and a few walkers walking their dogs. The food was awesome, my only complaint was they put the rolls directly in the box with no paper lining so they stuck. That's the only reason I did not give 5 stars. We got seaweed salad which normally I'm nota big fan of but I like theirs. I will definitely be going back!

I love there sushi! They pretty much always have half off sushi it feels like. Great rolls, wide variety, defiantly one of the better sushi spots.

The sushi is always tasty and FRESH. The ambiance is very cute, cozy, and modern with open windows to Spring Street. Van and her family are incredibly sweet and welcoming. Can’t recommend highly enough!

Great food. We tried the Fresh Rolls and had a crunch roll as well as one of their bowls which had all fresh, delicious ingredients like pineapple, mango, crabmeat and sauce. Perfect lunch!!

Good little spot. It's mostly self-serve, but the fusion approach to poke bowls provides a punchy flavor compared to what I normally get at home in California. The service is friendly and the space is very casual, almost like a froyo shop kind of feel. The quality of the fish was very fresh and the quantity is good too. Most places I've been to have a medium or large size, but here it's just one size. The steamed buns were good as well. If I were living closer, I could see this becoming a regular spot, but I'm sure my sister will become a regular regardless.
