In this era of Biden "transitory" inflation, we're always on the lookout for discounts on luxury goods like eggs, so we decided to stop at US Foods in C-Town. As it turned out, cheap eggs were available (in boxes of fifteen dozen). Did some quick math and decided that the money saved wouldn't cover the cost of cholesterol prescriptions we'd need as a result of our purchase. On the way home, noticed that Santi's parking lot was pretty full, so we decided to give it a shot, having never been. Bottom line, excellent food (pretty extensive menu) at decent prices. Tasty chips and the salsa came in a little bottle. No problem getting seconds. Good selection of "sir-vay-za" in bottles or 16/32 ounce drafts. Ended up ordering the "ta-mah-lays" and chill-e ree-ain-yose" (Spanish was never my strong suit in school). Great soundtrack too - love hearing A-ha while I'm eating refried beans. Glad we passed by.

The deco is very interesting. Always liked the Taco salad. Last visit it was smaller, less lettuce and seasoned differently. Please return to the previous. Our waiter seemed to be new and had messed up the order. It was corrected, but arrived almost with the check. Step it up. Sure would miss that previous

How Santi’s rated number 6??? Santis puts Mex 1, taco boy, etc etc to shame. Must try the shrimp stuffed avacado, the tacos, hanger steak, burritos, soup, chips and salsa, the margs and the list goes on and on. Also great vibes from all the staff and a really cute covered porch area with lots of greenery. Nothing but great things to say about this place.

Santi's is our go to place when we want good authentic Mexican food. The city built a few high-rise buildings basically on top of this little place. It has endured since the food is so good.

Just happened to be here for cinco de mayo What a great atmosphere and drinks. The chips are awesome with the homemade salsa. Was a great place for food and drinks.

Great Mexican place with lots of flavor and atmosphere. This is definitely a local place, but after eating the same for a couple days it was nice to try something different. It didn’t disappoint.

As locals we have our favorites. We are weary of dining out in a tourist town on a Friday night, but this place is worth it. As their flagship restaurant the area is growing up around them and they continue to offer great food and service at a great price. These guys are great. Our go-to entrees are the fro burrito, and guisado de puerco. Have margarita, Tacate, or Corona and enjoy.

Santi's Restaurante Mexicano on Meeting Street Road in Charleston is one of my favorite places to go for really good food and drink after a long day. I really like the location as there is plenty of parking available and it is easy to get to from the interstate. The atmosphere and vibe here is very relaxed and laid back as you can really enjoy your meal and reduce your stress level. The food here is delicious and flavorful and everything that I have tried on the menu has been great. Santi's Restaurante Mexicano is well worth the visit.

I am a Mexican who lives in Chicago. This food is delicious!! Such an awesome surprise! Here for a family visit but highly recommend visitors and locals alike!! The cheese dip is delicious the guacamole is amazing! Margaritas are potent (in a good way). Happy Hour is 4-6 pm, M-F. Drink specials and free appetizers with purchase of beer or marg pitcher. Combo #2 platter was my choice. The Tacos are authentic and delicious! I wasn’t a huge fan of my enchiladas in comparison but was still good. The poblano stuffed with cheese was so cheesy and rich with flavor! The steak burrito was also large and full of flavor! Honestly, I have nothing negative to say (and that’s rare;) I highly recommend!! Go now!!! ?

Lovely kind staff here. I had not eaten at the restaurant but was stranded in the area after my car was towed and it was getting dark. I couldn’t call an Uber because my phone battery had died. I was invited in to the restaurant, offered the use of a i-phone charger and the gentleman’s (manager?) personal hot spot to call an Uber. I cannot thank them enough for helping me out of my time of need.

Went on Sept 15th - Mexican Independence Day. The food was pretty good for being in the South. We are from AZ so it is always a challenge to find mexican food that compares to home. But this restaurant had great food. Although, their interpretations of dishes was a little different from what we are used to it was very good. Staff was pleasant and service was quick. They don't have fountain soft drinks but they have lots of adult beverages and a beautiful patio.

I have to say I was honestly blown away by how great this restaurant was. From the outside, it at first didn’t seem too appealing, but the ambiance of the inside was both beautiful and unique. I especially loved the lighting fixtures and paintings inside. The restaurant’s staff were very friendly and I loved how much they care for their customers and make sure everything’s is perfect. The food was the best part though! It was authentic Mexican food but with a twist. All of the food was super fresh and cooked in a way they highlighted the flavors perfectly and made you want more! I ended up clearing the whole plate, as did my friends. We will definitely be back and bring more people to share the food with.

We visited in the evening with a few friends. The menu was about the same as most of the standard Mexican restaurants in the tri-county area. We had tacos, burritos, and an enchalada, none of which stood out as better than average. Plenty of parking, and easy access to the Interstate. Prices were OK, but a bit much for the foods served. Service was slow, but the young lady server was very accommodating. Doubt I'll return.
