Their employees brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for your inclusion!

A fun sensory overload of a million colorful sugar selections! I went for the overpriced pralines and fell for the sales/marketing ploy - "buy one pound, get half pound free". Delicious - not as good as Aunt Sally's, and still overpriced, but good pralines are better than no pralines. And they were fresh!

This place has a lot going for it, but some disappointment too. The vibe is a total throwback to a time before my own. We spent $100 and so far I'm disappointed with what I tried. The dark chocolate-covered pretzels were unimpressive; the pretzels seem a bit stale, and the chocolate is nothing special. Also, no saltiness was present. My chocolate-covered Rice Krispie treat was rock hard with none of the butteriness I look for in a Rice Krispie treat. The person who helped us was disengaged and completely flat; at an old-timed candy store in a tourist area I expect some personality.

Teenager behind counter socialized with her friends for 10 minutes with any recognition that we were waiting to get a scoop of ice cream. She laughed as we walked out.

The kid at the very beginning of the entrance. Was extremely loud and rude to anybody who walks in and looked at some of the stuff in front of him. Literally screamed and told us to get out of his way and not to block the front door. We were actually going to buy quite a bit of candy. Now we will never come back to the store ever again due to the rudeness of that young man.

I went for peanut brittle, but they pride themselves on pralines. I found bags of peanut brittle in the back of the store, and I'm savoring it now. Delicious! Good looking store with lots of old school candies for sale, as well as many hand made items. Everyone was friendly with a smile, even at the end of a long Saturday. Recommended!

My mom & I came here twice on our trip to Charleston. We had never had a praline, and they give out free samples. My mom loved it, it was too sweet for me. But there are tons of other candies & ice creams to choose from here. The only bummer was that on a Thursday, my mom bought one praline and it was 2 dollars and some change. We came back on Friday so she could get one more, and the price for one had shot up to $5!

A sign to try the praline is what drew me into the shop. They were in process of making a batch. Oh looked and smelled decedent. Sample melted in my mouth. I had to purchase some.

Just look at the pictures. Candy, Taffy, ice creams and all kinds of chocolates. It was so many choices but I think most people buy ice cream and chocolate. The service is so nice. Everybody is always very happy walking out of the store.Get some ice cream and walk around Charleston is a very enjoyable moment

As you can tell, my family and I love sweets so we made a pit stop here after we left Le Macaron. There's something about that sweet smell when you walk into a shop like this that just makes me a happy guy. Chocolate covered everything, gelato and candies are just some of the things you will find here. My kids used their own money and bought gummy type candies, some chocolates and I decided on some gelato which was smooth and creamy like gelato should be. Another great little stop to satisfy that sweet craving.

We had a few minutes to kill so we decided to check this candy shoppe out. This shoppe is across the street the City Market so there's no excuse for not checking this place out.The interior is very well planned out. One area had bins of hard candies, another area had ice cream and in the middle of the room had the fudge, carmel apple and other yummy treats. The prices seemed reasonable, depending what you are looking for. Enjoy!

I got two scoops of cotton candy ice cream and my boyfriend got some candy. This place is simply amazing. They have a lot of popular brands of candy but they also sell their own sweets made in store. Everything is delicious!

I frequently visit this store. I was greated with attitude and rudness when I tried ordered a milkshake today. I was told "I'm not making milkshakes today" with hostility. It was on the menu I didnt know today wasn't a milkshake day.
