We visited Charleston for my sister’s 40th birthday and our group of 7 people went to Stella’s for a late dinner. The food, atmosphere and service was amazing. As a group full of Greeks, we were all impressed with the authentic cuisine and they had great selections for Greek wine. The staff was friendly, attentive and made the experience enjoyable. We would definitely visit this place again next time we are in Charleston.

The appetizers we got were delicious, aside from our pita being burnt. The service and food was underwhelming based on the reviews. It was a beautiful building, though. Still, there are plenty of great buildings in Charleston and I would save your money and go to a different Greek restaurant.

We usually enjoy Greek restaurants. The keftedes were soft and undercooked, the artichoke mousaka was covered with cinnamon and not very flavorful. Worst of all, our server added a $29 item to our check that we did not order.

Its very hard to find excellent Greek food, and unfortunately this spot is just average, although its a super cool space. Sat at the bar and our waiter forgot we were there several times and we waited 20 mins just to get the check picked up. But the real issue is the mediocre food. We had humas which should be terrific and its quite bland, not creamy and not at all special...frankly there are store brands that are far better. The pita is not homemade, which is a game changer when half the dishes are served with it...packaged type and disappointing. The chicken Souvlaki was charbroiled, which is great, but SO overcooked, so it was dry and rather tasteless. The spanakopita was OK, but the typically flaky phyllo wrap was more like an empanada. They had a vintage film, THE GREEK TYCOON beaming on the brick upper wall, but yea its brick, so you really can't make out the images too well. Some good concepts here, but it misses the mark.
WOW! Fantastic food and quality service! Unfortunately their bar list is not too extensive but the cocktails they do make are all fantastic. Think there's only 3 tequilas in the building. The decor is awesome!!!

They have one of the best rosés I’ve ever had and everything is always spot on. Grew up around the corner from the original so feels like to have some comfort from home!

The way that the energy and care of a staff of real people sometimes translates into a positively brightened sensory experience can only be harnessed in a culinary atmosphere. On 12/8/23, my husband and I had a reservation at the bar and we were seated quickly. The waiter, Stephen Andrew S, had an attitude from the beginning. When we asked questions about the Greek appetizers, he seemed annoyed. Our food and drinks were served and we enjoyed the food, but the waiter never checked back to see if we were enjoying the food. We decided not to get an entree due to the waiter. Got our bill 42.00 plus tax, we left a 10.00 tip. When we got our credit card bill, the tip was changed to 40.00! I called on 1/14/24 and left a message about this charge. I still am waiting for a call. I have disputed the charge with my cc company.
