The food was amazing. The staff was very nice, though communication was sometimes difficult. There was no wait when we came in. We got our food quickly. The tables were clean. This place is a hole in the wall with good food and kind people.

Had the carnitas and fish tacos, both were very good and I'll definitely be back.

This place used to be really good. I should have realized that there were 0 people dining there at 12:30 and just bailed. I ordered a classic burrito and it was mostly rice and lettuce and it just kinda...sucked. Seriously, for $13.50 out the door you would think they'd put a little effort into it,but not so much.

Delicious! Authentic Mexican Flavor. Cooked upon ordered and served hot. They were friendly and offered old-fashioned catering. Five Stars! Fajitas for two.

Quality dropped recently, no more hand made tortillas and food taste really dropped.

I order the 2 street taco plate that says it's 11.50 per plate. After getting home I realized I paid 14.50 a plate and it didn't come with any sides. Just 5 tacos.

Fresh, good quality, authentic food. We had a chicken burrito, shrimp fajitas and the bean dip. Homemade corn tortillas were impressive. The beans were delicious loaded with chorizo. The salsa bar has interesting stuff for those of us who like it spicy. Service was polite and minimalist. Ambiance is utilitarian, so lower your expectations.

We love taco kitchen! We make sure we eat lunch and breakfast at Taco Kitchen every time we are in West Ashley!! Delicious-taste like San Antonio tacos, did i mention homemade tortillas. Flautas are delicious also and love salsa bar!!

Definitely a hole in the wall so I was hopeful of getting some authentic style tacos. Not the cleanest and most organized place, because it looked partially rented or renovating so I wasn't sure. It was interesting to find the bathroom and once I did there was a pungent cigarette smell that threw me off. Service was quick, we got the 5 taco combo which priced at ($2.50) and taco, or else if you ordered them a La carte they were $5.50?? Not sure why but that's why we got the combo bc it made more sense. We got 4 mini size tacos with corn tortilla, and the 5th one came in a large size flour tortilla which was confusing. Flavor was good but needed more seasoning on the meat. But they had a nice salsa bar which is always a plus. We may come back and try something else.

Let me preface this with the disclaimer that I'm a Texas girl (where Mexican food actually is authentic - not Colorado. See earlier review).I had high hopes for this place after reading previous reviews. Needless to say, the old adage, "Never eat Mexican food north of Dallas or East of the Mississippi," was probably directed at this place specifically. Are they nice? Yes, they seem sweet. Salsa was good. But if this is South Carolina's idea of good Mexican food - my God, y'all are missing out.

I’m so disappointed in this place. First time going and the prices are outrageous paid 60 dollars for 9 tacos and rice and beans… and I had to take my tacos back because 4 of my tacos had legit 3 little pieces of meat in the tortilla. The owners didn’t seem to see the issue with my tacos not having barely any meat , and they were cooking and touching the meat and tortillas without gloves. Rice also tasted like it had sand in it… possibly dirty. Will never go back.
