Ordered the steak taco and burrito deluxe as soon as the store opened. Everything tasted old and cold. Food lacked flavor and the rice was mushy. I will not be coming here again.

THE WAITER INCLUDED THE TIP AND I UNDERSTAND THAT MANY DO THIS, BUT WHEN I ASKED HIM IF THIS IS A COMMON PRACTICE OF THE RESTAURANT EVEN THOUGH THE SERVICE WAS PESIMI, HE ANSWERED ME THAT THEY ONLY DO THAT WITH HISPANICS BECAUSE THEY USUALLY DO NOT LEAVE A TIP, WHICH THAT IT IS DISRESPECTFUL TO ME TO JUDGE OR BELIMINATE SOMEONE JUST BECAUSE OF THEIR APPEARANCE, THAT IS TO say IF YOU ARE WHITE THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU WELL AND RECEIVE FROM YOU WHAT YOU GIVE THEM. BUT IF YOU ARE A SPANISH SPEAKER THEY SET THE PRICE BECAUSE THEY HAVE US LISTED AS LESS. ? THERE ARE BETTER RESTAURANTS IN THE CITY AND THE PRICE AND QUALITY OF THE FOOD LEAVES A LOT TO DESIRE.

Always gets our order wrong. We gave this place an honest try multiple times.First time our order was wrong we gave them the benefit of the doubt. So we tried again.This time we literally spelled it out to the server "absolutely no unions". The server acknowledged and repeated it back multiple times to us.When the dish came out it was covered in union's. My partner was visibly upset after trying so hard to communicate that she is allergic to unions. He just stared at her like she was crazy as if he forgot the entire conversation prior about no unions.They did offer to recook the whole dish but no refund. We wanted to leave. It felt intentional.Like I said this was not our first experience like this from this restaurant and we won't be returning.

Had some amazing Mexican tacos at El Gallo. I was told that the food was good, and "authentic" so my expectations were high. I was pleased that the tacos were really good! I ordered al Pastor, chicken and steak tacos that were delicious. This is a roadside Mexican restaurant so the atmosphere was a bit "quirky". The staff was professional and attentive and I would definitely return to El Gallo and try some other things on the menu.

Absolutely horrible! Soured refried beans, out of the refrigerator cold sauce on the enchiladas and missing to 2 burritos out of the order. Avoid this establishment.

Literally the most courteous and helpful staff I've seen in a while. The food was delicious - I had the taco salad. In college, I cooked in a SW restaurant, and I can tell when people care about their food - this place cares about their food!

I was curious since I've read a few of the reviews about this restaurant. Well, I was in the area so I was going to try one of the lunch specials. I wanted the steak taco and chile rellano, but they were out of peppers. So, I got a chicken enchilada instead. The comb comes with beans of ur choice, and a small salad. The taco only has flavorless ground beef, did not want ground beef, language barrier! And the taco only had shredded American cheese, not Mexican cheese. The food here is really bland, inexpensive and generally not good. The service was decent, but I won't be going back. Lo siento
