PHENOMENAL soft shell crab sandwich. I can't stop thinking about it.

First time in the restaurant and the food was good. Waitress was very nice but server was a bit lackadaisical. Would recommend anyway

Bbq was awful and the Mac and cheese was tasteless. The chicken and waffles were legit, but the beer menu was lacking

After a long day of traveling then walking, the Rarebit looked great. Vegan options were available which was a huge plus. I ordered the farmers plate, which was vegetables sautéed and dumped in a bowl. They were very hard and unappetizing, especially when I discover the cut red peppers in the bowl still had the sticker on them, which means they were not prepped or cleaned properly. Promptly we asked for the waitress to take it back and replace it with a vegan burger. This burger too, was completely over cooked, I had to cover it in mustard and ketchup to have any flavor, I couldn’t eat but 1/2 it was just very unappealing especially after I kept thinking about eating stickers and I uncleaned vegetables. My husbands burger was as think as a slice of bologna and overcooked as well, and the fries were soggy and flimsy. Server was friendly but we had to ask for our check even after she cleared our table. She was more concerned with the basketball game that was playing. Would not recommend unless they hire new kitchen staff.

Normally I'm skeptical of hipster-looking restaurants with arugula, but my brother said it had good reviews.Among other things, we ordered the catch-of-the-day salmon sandwich, I got the fried flounder&shrimp, and the pork shoulder.Food was phenomenal. The fried seafood had that crispy cornmeal batter and lots of Old Bay seasoning.More importantly, the staff was very overwhelmed but kept their cool and were really nice people.Highly recommended!

Went today with my family bc I was craving the catfish, and Mac and cheese and of course their expresso martini. Sadly the Mac and cheese DID NOT taste the same! Something was way off! Did ya’ll fire the person who was in charge of the Mac and cheese? If so, bring him/her back! I had to send it back and the second one still was off! The noodles are different, and the cheese wasn’t melted properly! Also what happened to the touch of seasoning! . But I did enjoy my martini.

The Rarebit in Charleston has the best Moscow Mule I've ever had! The ginger beer is made in-house & the flavor of fresh ginger is so refreshing! Finishing with a fresh, fragrant slice of sweet orange .... it's the perfect pairing of this delicious cocktail! The atmosphere is a combo of a 1950's - 60' theme/decor, which provides a feeling of nostalgia! Highly recommend!

We had a lunch at Rarebit with company of girlfriends and it was great . The place is small but spacious and welcoming . Food was amazing , service was quick . Lisa ( the bartender plus server and host ) went out above and beyond delivering excellent customer experience. We will be back !

Very cute bar! Great assortment on the brunch menu - had some delicious chicken and waffles! The restaurant was very understaffed which was a bit frustrating. Only three people working the floor during brunch (one server, one bartender, one buser).

A new favorite in Charleston that we just ran across on upper King. The staff is OVER THE TOP excellent. Rogan and Lisa, most especially. Drinks can be a bit pricey, but considering the area of King, and they are on par. The menu is unlike any other, which is a treat!

The food was super amazing, especially the fresh fish sandwich. The service was pretty slow and the wait staff had to be reminded a few times of orders. Overall pretty good experience.
