This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The service and staff was amazing, the rooms and hotel are beautiful with great art work. I really can’t say enough great things about the Vendue, but I will be recommending it to everyone!

We changed our minds at the 11th to switch our hotel due to reviews and decided on the Enclave, was not a disappointment! From the start of booking until the time we checked out the staff was the best staff we have experienced. They even made our Frenchie feel at home. You cannot beat the location, within walking distance to many restaurants, bars and sites. We were originally there for three nights and we decided to extend the stay an extra night and they took care of scheduling everything for us. We will definitely stay here again! Special Thank you to Danielle, Harvey, Jessica and Allison!!Rooms: Very cozy, clean and we loved the decor and design. Art gallery in both hotels, Enclave and Vendue. Very relaxing!Nearby activities: Rainbow Row, open air market, carriage rides, walkable tours, SC Aquarium, wine and paint night at the Vendue as well as an art tour every night.Walkability: Everything is very walkable, the water front landing, waterfront park, dog park a few short blocks away- small park as well as a larger park for all the furry friends.Food & drinks: You definitely have your pick within a two block radius. BBQ, Pizza, Taco -RuRu is a definite, Magnolia-Local Lowcountry, and Revival the restaurant at the hotelFor the Bar ventures cannot go wrong at the Blind Tiger, the Rooftop Bar at the Vendue and the Irish Pub Tommy Condon's.

This hotel has amazing ever-changing ? art gallery exhibits in its lobby that are free to view. Can you find the Elephant in the Room? The Vendue has a trendy red hot ? roof top restaurant/ bar that beautifully stands out in the Charleston landscape with views of the city nightscape. If you are an art or architectural enthusist stop by on your way to Waterfront Park for an evening cocktail. There is also a full service restaurant if you love Charleston fine dining.Nearby activities: Waterfront Park with Pineapple Fountain

Very clean. Great location. However, what separates this hotel from the others is the staff! They were awesome. Even before our flight left Louisville, they were asking if we needed anything. Couldn’t find wahoo in town, but Cameron with the hotel scoured and found it! Over and over again we talked about how happy we were we had picked The Enclave at Vendue. This was the best service I’ve ever had during a hotel stay. The room was high-end and impeccable clean. All of the staff were friendly and went out of their way to provide service. The treats were ridiculously delicious. They always had candy out, coffee every morning, breakfast snacks delivered every morning, mimosas mid-morning, fresh cookies and ice to the room nightly and hot cookies and milk on the evening. We had considered being further north near Marion Square, but were so happy we’d decided to be in the French Quarter. Restaurants were amazing nearby. It was so nice to be near the really old homes and the water. We’ll be back!Rooms: So so clean! The decor was luxurious. Finishes were very high-end. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. We truly lived having robes to lounge in. They’ve thought of everything for your comfort - great carpet, soaps that were awesome, steamer, blow dryer, coffee/tea. The best!Nearby activities: Walking all the historic streets to see churches and mansions and historically significant buildings. Steps from the wharf, pineapple foundation and water taxi. Very hip and delicious restaurants within four (small) blocksWalkability: We walked everywhere! And when your legs are tired, the free DASH shuttle is steps from the front door.Noteworthy details: The staff really cared and took great pride in doing their work fabulously!

Love this art hotel! Just visiting to see the art would be worth it. Rooms are contemporary designed in yellow and white with dark wood furniture. They have treats and candy (yellow themed) all day long and breakfast brought to your room. Location is excellent being close to museums, the pier and park, and plenty of excellent restaurants.

A great location, but poorly engineered rooms and a staff in training.

We were super happy with our stay. Champagne after a long drive in the car was exactly what I needed and my daughter loved the cookies! We loved the location as well- our objective was to play tourist in a city we are very familiar with and this was a great place to stay for that. The decor was not my favorite but I appreciate the care and attention that went into it. We did love the large bathroom and fireplace in the room.We will definitely stay here again.
