Now called Creek Side Tavern. Not my type of place but very clean and nice inside. Pool tables and a large bar area.

This place is now called Cedar Creek Tavern. It's been completely renovated and it's so much better. The food is great with their new menu.

What's your fancy partner? Does your gut grumble for great grub or is your soul seeking sensational spirits? Maybe your mind needs moving music or perhaps your preference is to punish pals in pool. Well, Tracye's Too (Cedar Creek Tavern) conveniently located on Ashley River Road has all sorts of interesting such as adult beverages food, music, bar sports and TVs for nearly everyone to enjoy, a welcome diversion to all of life's idiosyncrasies. The day after Thxgiving I asked a buddy where to go in West Ashley to meet some friends considering I haven't lived in SC since 2000. Yes, the West Ashely has changed so much I barley recognize it anymore. He said, "check out Trayce's Too it's a great spot," so we decided to belly up for a lot of reminiscing. I can't really put the lack of atmosphere on the facilities as the patrons were of two age brackets above me and relatively subdued and to be frank, boring. That said everything I alluded to were surprisingly fulfilling. Walking in you see a peninsula bar dominate the landscape with a granite type top with a black underbelly and black faux leather chairs adoring their master. The walls and floors match with a paneled wood floor, simple yet affective. TVs are literally everywhere so if there's a sports game or match on, they have you covered. The place is clean and tables plentiful. To the right is a big game area with at least 4 billiards tables and I thought I saw a dart board but can't recollect. There is a small stage for live music near the door so you get the vibe right upon entering. Bar food can be challenging to say the least. With all sorts of options out there a menu has to be balanced; bar staples as well as experiments possessing a flair of creativity. I ordered the nachos and Santa Fe egg rolls to start. The nachos were on the money, crispy chips with loads of gooey cheese and toppings as needed. I recommend them to the weary traveler. The egg rolls were ok as they were something different to gnaw on while slamming down drinks for us big "kids". They were a lot more breading than I wanted but the seasoning was tex-mex but I did enjoy the filling. After that my buddy wanted to try some "sushi" and against my better judgement I acquiesced to his desires. I was anticipating gummy rice, crappy fish and a sloppily made effort. Now in full disclosure I was roughly 4 drinks in to the evening however it was extremely satisfying. We ordered the rainbow roll which is basically a California roll typically topped with tuna, salmon, shrimp, avocado and another fish; in this case smoked salmon. I found the rice to be well cooked, the roll was flavorful, the fish fresh and the presentation with sauces was commendable. I'm inclined to believe the rest of their menu is extremely well done, on par with the food I enjoyed. Our waitress was a real people person. Anyone that waits on me needs a quick wit as I'm a former comedian and I love to have fun. She took my barbs, threw verbal darts of her own, was timely in checking on and delivering beverages and she was the one who suggested our sushi. I observed the other staff and it would appear to me they have a great group of people working the floors. As for the music I enjoyed the band however as most can guess, it changes nightly. To my discredit I have no idea who was playing but it was a great distraction and they played the hell out of the oldies music. They tried their hardest to get the morgue up and moving so I give them full credit. Overall, I highly suggest checking out Trayce's Too as they have just about everything needed to provide an excellent experience. The staff is awesome, the food is worthy of "Diners, Drivins and Dives," the facilities are clean and safe while they have many bar distractions like pool. So, if you have a hankering for some great grub a few cocktails all at a good price I'm sure you'll be happy with checking this place out.

Loved this place the first time I visited. Great local cozy spot to watch your favorite NFL team. Tons of TVs, they will put on any team you want. Beers are cold and cheap, food is solid. Service is always great. Make this your go to Sunday NFL spot!

We’ve been going for years and recently went back after new renovations and a menu revamp. We love the taco specials- the pork taco is the best I’ve ever had. The sushi is really good, and love that they have a dedicated sushi chef now! Everything tastes more freshly made than ever before so we’ve made this a more frequent stop.Sushi fried- Tobago roll (pictured) and the Chico feo roll (not pictured)

New kitchen staff, new menu, fresh sushi - favorite so far is the Cedar Creek Roll - love the improvements. Great happy hour prices and the most comfortable bar stools around.

This was our first time at Trayce's Too. It's nice to have a bar and grill in the neighborhood that provides friendly service and good food. The owner is new and so is the interior with nice wood flooring and rustic paneling on the walls. Our server Tamara was very welcoming and brought us menus and took our drink orders. We were both in the mood for a burger and fries so we opted for those. It took awhile, but it was worth the wait. The burger was juicy, nicely flavored, a good quality of beef, and it was served on a hoagie type roll--not the usual bun that falls apart as you eat it. Tamara was also promoting the sushi menu with an offer of buy one, second one half off. That's a good option for those that want a drink and a light nosh. Hopefully the new vibes of this small bar will encourage more people to try it out!

My wife and I live around the corner and have been coming here for years. The food is excellent, I suggest their wings or burgers. The staff is among my favorite in Charleston, very fun and friendly. They really hire great people, so say hi to the bartenders and have fun. They often have live music which can be a plus or minus. My wife loves coming here to dance and have fun, however I find the music is often too loud which is something that bothers me. This is definitely a locals spot though so if you are in the area you really should stop in and try it.
