We had an absolute wonderful time!!! I wanted to celebrate 4 of my team members having weddings and this was the most perfect place to have an intimate bridal shower. This was a first for all of us and we can't say enough about how fantastic it was. The food was delicious and everyone of us loved the personalized service the owner gave to us! Will be recommending to everyone!

We enjoyed everything about this quaint little gem. From the decor to the tea to the amazing scones and jams/spreads. It made our girls trip even better.

My family and I had the pleasure of dining here for afternoon tea to celebrate my parents' anniversary. The food and service was amazing! Thoughtful touches and quite the presentation of food and tea, but even better was how delicious it all tasted. Highly recommend!

We had a terrific time ! We booked a celebratory tea for my daughter's graduation with guys and gals and everyone was very satisfied. The space was cute, the tea and sandwiches and desserts delicious. Jen was wonderful. Book early is my suggestion as this place is in demand.

I typically do not write Yelp reviews but I simply must after spending afternoon tea at this little gem. Celebrated my daughter's birthday with the family and we received the most attentive service from the owner, Jen. She is friendly, kind and easy to talk to. The place is cozy and quaint, like sitting in the owner's own personal dining room, with adorable decor and beautiful art. Now the food......exceptional. Every bite was more delicious then the next. You can tell they put a lot of love and care into their food. My children thoroughly enjoyed the cute little sandwiches, desserts and melt in your mouth scones. And the tea-perfectly brewed!! We came to celebrate a special occasion but we will most certainly come back to just enjoy afternoon tea for no special occasion at all.

A mother's Day special this May 9th - Charleston Tea in the back garden at 20 South Battery. This unique setting really took us back in time and was a real joy. The Sweets and pastries were awesome and the three different types of teas added a great deal to the experience. The raspberry tea, peach tea and Earl Grey Tea were all exceptional teas and all local teas. This was the first time they have done a paring like this and i hope to see more like this. A tea in a unique setting adds a great deal to the experience. The tour of 20 South Battery was awesome too (after the tea)

Although this little tea house is in a part of Charleston that is a little less desired, the quaint 4-table serving area was super-cute, charming and cozy. The real highlight here is the food. Jen and her husband are at the absolute masters at amazing recipes. The scones were to die for, the lemon curd was homemade, and each of the treats were lovingly prepared with all the fine details! in my opinion, their choice of tea selections is not exactly the best tea I’ve ever had, but the food does more than make up for it! Tolerate the tea and savor all of the treats! You will not regret it! If we are ever back in Charleston, we would absolutely come back in a heartbeat!

I'll start with what's not my favorite so we can ignore that after. The space is very tiny, but has a patio where that I think could be used for afternoon tea as well but seems to only be used for waiting. The tiny space doesn't quite allow you to relax. However, everything else was great. The owner is very friendly and everything tasted so good. The jams were all a perfect combo of sweet and tart. The scones had a texture of biscuits with some crystalized sugar on top and were my favorite of all the foods we were served. Initially I added a cube of sugar to my tea, but stopped once we received the pastries as they offered enough sweetness that the bitterness of the tea was a good balance. Speaking of the tea, they left a soft, oily texture to the water. We had the cinnamon and the raspberry teas and enjoyed both.
