This little pizzeria has the best food! Every ingredient is so fresh and cooked to perfection. We had the black and bleu salad and margherita pizza. The pizza is big enough to split with 2 people. Each person gets 3 medium size slices. We were very happy with the service we had and it's a nice relaxing place to eat outside in the shade under some oak trees.
We were supposed to go to lunch at Vespa Pizzeria today, and we had booked some tables over the phone. We were a big group, but we had separated in a couple of smaller groups (the people at the restaurant told us that they do not accept bookings from more than 15 people per group). Once there, they sent us away because they didn't have enough servers. Just because you are understaffed, you don't send customers away. Most probably many of us would have come back another time...but not now. Oh well, we found another place and we had a blast. It was their loss.

There were 35 of us we had made reservations 15 and 15 and then another 10. When we arrived they said that they would not serve us. They had asked us to leave because they were understaffed!! And that was the words over the phone by the owner!! Disgusting very rude and uncomfortable!! We went to a nearby restaurant and they were more than pleased to take care of us. And we were very happy with their food Orlando's!! So goodbye Vespa wish you well on your rudeness!!

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT RIPS OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS.Can't rate the food because I never go to! I ordered to-go food: Seafood pasta. The container was a sandwich container - clam shell design where only the bottom half held the food. In this case the bottom was sauce. During my drive, the sauce leaked out the side and then the lid popped off and spilled everywhere. So now I am without food and a trashed car that smells of pasta sauce.Now, I call Vespa and asked for a manager. I explained that I was out a $20 dish and no lunch. I had spent a total of $40 on takeout for lunch and her/managers only response was that she "would tell the kitchen."Result: no food, out $40, have to clean my car all because Vespa does not recognize that their to-go packaging for liquid dishes is inefficient AND they had no inkling of offering a credit. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT RIPS OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS.

I love this place! There are very few restaurants in town that offer gluten free pizza and the one at Vespa is the best I have had anywhere. My favorite one is the gluten free Bella pizza. It is the the perfect combination of goat cheese, apples, caramelized onion jam and arugula that makes it so special to me. They also have the Meomi Pinot Noir I so enjoy. My husband loves the regular pasta choices they have and his favorite dish is the roasted chicken and broccoli Alfredo. He also loves the Rigatoni Bolognese pasta and the regular pizza is also really good. The ingredients are always fresh and the service is outstanding. Everyone there from management to every single server we have had, have been warm and caring making us feel as if we are a part of their family. This place is the perfect neighborhood restaurant. We are very lucky to have such as special jewel on Daniel island.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

This was our first time here. The food and service was wonderful! All of the staff was very friendly. Their fries were the best I've had in forever. I ordered the veggie pizza. The vegetables were so fresh and tasty. My husband ordered the ricotta, sausage and mushroom special and said it was delicious. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. We'll definitely be back to try more!

Toppings are pretty good. Charged $6 extra for some Udi's tasting gluten free crust. Probably would have went back for the other food but not after that money grab.

Had the gluten free pizza. Crust and sauce had no flavor at all. Sausage and bacon was just okay. Pepperoni was the only good thing about this pizza. Slightly undercooked as well. Also expensive for a pizza.

First time here and it was with no doubt a good pizza place selection. The staff is friendly and pizza was served within reasonable time. Good variety of pizzas and they all tasted good, no complaints at all. We got three different appetizers and all of them were excellent. They have indoor and outdoor dining area, plenty of space to eat. I definitely recommend this pizza place.
