Up front, they get a 3 star because I don't agree with the idea of passing of the credit card service charge directly to the customer. And look, I get it. It's a cost of doing business. Just don't tell me. Bake it into your costs. I feel better about paying an extra something for amazing dishes but instead I feel like the business is giving it to me at 3% and the government is giving it to me with their cut. Food was great, service was great but a little slow even on what seemed to be a quiet evening. Setting is very pretty. Would visit again just think it's a fair rating for those that care about this sort of thing.

Underwhelming but went with a group of 20 women with 1 server. Server did as best of a job as any would in her position. The food was okay.

Staff was great and went the extra mile on our order. They created roll without seaweed for our 7 year old grandaughter, who once bad experience.

Wasabi is one of my favorite restaurants in Charleston. I love eating their Happy Hour menu. My favorites are their calamari, edemame, Wasabi side salad, green curry and sushi.Kid-friendliness: They have a great kids Benito box.

Amazing sushi and Ramen. The yellowtail collar was so good. Laid back atmosphere. It was our 2nd trip there and we will be back!

Food was really good , loved the sushi I got. We got a bottle of wine only because we were specifically told it was half off. We got the bill and it was much more expensive than we anticipated. We took a second look and the bottle was charged full price. We had already paid and figured we wouldn’t see the server for awhile so we just took off with that loss. All in all good just should know your specials on certain days and double check your Checks !!

The food was basic at best. The sushi was good but that's pretty much where the "good" ends. The server seemed very annoyed we were in her section. She never introduced herself she started the interaction with "what would you like to drink" thought that was odd. The table had a greasy film on it, my water glass had lipstick on it (not mine...). My husband's chicken was cold on the inside and my rice tasted like how a circus smells.... we went to celebrate my sons 6th birthday, upon learning this, the server said "oh we will have some ice cream for you after your meal", unfortunately that was the last of the ice cream celebration. We didn't need the ice cream, however to mention it to a 6yr old and then not deliver on the promise... I thought that was kind of mean. For $100 I would have hoped for a better meal. Anyway, we won't return but I hope others have a better experience.

Will never come back to this restaurant again. While picking up takeout for 5 people was accosted by the manager for not leaving a tip. The order wasn’t even correct to top it off. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

The food was overcooked, overpriced, and had a horrible aftertaste. I do not recommend any hibachi or Thai dish from here. And there are way better sushi joints in town. The service was bad, too. They forgot our bottle of wine and sodas for the kids. We never received our appetizer and finally received our drinks after dinner was served. A lovely $225 bill and a party of 5 who were all unhappy and disliked the food and service.

Charleston has a lot of great sushi, this sushi is just okay. It's in an easy to get to location. The venue has live music some nights which is a great addition and they have plenty of outdoor seating. The service from one bartender in particular really brought down the vibe. It was clear she wasn't happy to be there and hey I don't love going to work some days either but it was all too obvious she was unhappy when I had to go on the search for my own soy sauce and chop sticks. I got the scam, and honestly I would compare it to $5 sushi Wednesday's at Publix, and I love $5 sushi Wednesday but it wasn't Wednesday and it was $12. The plate could have used more ginger and wasabi (I mean the place is called wasabi). It had a great crunch to the roll and I love a crunch in my roll, I also love spice and it had the perfect amount.

Fast and delicious. Great spot with fresh sushi and excellent service. Good location right across from Credit One Stadium and perfect for a pre-event meal.
