Excellent food. Have been there twice now. Fried pork , collard greens, and garlic mashed potatoes was EXCELLENT!!!!!! Good beer selection. Nice atmosphere. Definitely an asset to the area.

I loved the ambience of the place. It was a perfect place for a get together with friends and colleagues from the University. I would highly recommend this place for drinks and food. My personal recommendation for beer lovers is to try out the beer from the Shiner brewery from Texas.Overall it was a nice experience during the middle of a hectic work week.

It is a solid place; my only criticism is that they are a little expensive for what they offer.

Heather and Alex was the best bartender in South Carolina in Clemson!

Was in last night. I like to go to nicks before and after I shoot pool. I always get the same drink. I must of made the bartender mad, her name starts with an H. She called me an a$$hole and charged me $3 more for the same drink I had 2 hours earlier. It appears there’s one price for her friends and another for everyone else. I’ve spent over $500 in the last 3 months. There are lots of other bars in Clemson, time to find a new one.

One of the best lowkey dive bars in downtown clemson. Cannot rave enough about Nicks. Known as more of the graduate/professor bar, they cater well to people who are nit picky about their cocktails and food selections, but each come at a very reasonable price. Known for their mozzarella sticks (best in Clemson). The bartenders are always super knowledgeable and friendly; they know how to pair good cocktails well and even create cocktails that may not be listed on the menu for you. The best selection of draft beers and mead as well. I would also boast the best priced and best tasting shrimp po boy in Clemson (Walk-on’s can’t even compare). The atmosphere at Nick’s is perfect; the decor and lighting and grunge feel really adds to the overall experience. It’s a great chill vibe for older students and staff who genuinely care about food and drink quality. The bathrooms are also kept clean and single stall; a rarity among bars downtown. Nicks is a must stop to enjoy a fine drink and good mozzarella sticks if you’re ever in town looking for a chill vibe.

Nick's was my favorite hangout when I was a grad student at Clemson in the early 90s. Just visited again this October after the homecoming game. It's still the best laid back bar in town.

LOVE this hidden gem off the beaten path! The food is great bar food with great service and knowledgeable bar staff! We love craft beer and the bartenders always steer us in the right direction! Can't wait to head back up there soon!

Huge beer selection. It's a lot of craft beers...but usually not at bargain prices unless you happen to run across a special. Their bar food is pretty good!
