From a sandwich connoisseur’s perspective: this place is phenomenal. Not sure why it’s getting dragged through the mud so badly. It’s my favorite lunch spot in Clemson. If you’re looking for a New York lunch go eat lunch in New York

Claims to be authentic but I think we all knew already that they weren't. The disappointment wasn't the bagels, but the fact that everything came in plastic or styrofoam that would just get thrown away after. So wasteful. They did provide one type of compostable coffee lid, but without going to an industrial composter that is just as wasteful and just greenwashing. They had plastic silverware, but just forks and spoons, no knives. The worst part was the coffee. Iced coffee was NASTY and hot stuff was only ok. Bring your own mug if you go or just buy a bagel somewhere else.

The bagels are pretty good at this place. However some of the staff is the rudest I have ever encountered. On their website as well as on every other Maps app and food app it says this place closes at 4pm on Saturdays, however we came at 3 and they told us they were closed. You cannot run a business and make up your own hours that change all the time. We tried it another time and the girl rolled her eyes and blatantly said "We should have never started cutting bagels in the first place for these people." Who serves breakfast sandwiches and does not cut them? How is that even edible? The bagels are ok however anyone except for the owner, a nice older man, is ridiculously rude. Update your times or continue to serve people until you do so.

From a New Yorker's perspective: Got a bacon egg and cheese. Bagel was okay, not awful but definitely not baked fresh. Sandwich was sub par and could have been done way better. Eggs weren't fresh and the 2 measly slices of bacon didn't do it for me. It takes 2 minutes to crack an egg and fry it a on a griddle, no one wants scrambled eggs cooked hours ago on their sandwich. Start making your sandwiches with eggs cooked to order and I'll come back for another try.

It was okay with a hint of New York. I guess it's missing the New York City water. The ladies at eatery where so nice and pleasant.

We really like the decor, the high ceilings, the ample ceiling and, of course, the bagels. The staff is friendly, too.

Always wondered what bagel shops did with their leftover bagels. Now I know. They send them to NYC Bagel in Clemson.

The everything bagel with bacon/egg/cheese was great! The service is very friendly. The place is very clean and new and conveniently located right on 76 before reaching the crazy traffic of 123. The only thing I’d improve from this first visit is a smell like something burnt. It isn’t overwhelming but it isn’t pleasant either. Could just be a temporary situation. Will definitely come again for a delicious bagel.

I was underwhelmed. The service was great but there are better bagel options in the area. The flavored cream cheeses were good.

Sausage, egg and cheese on a toasted everything bagel for $5. I'm not complaining. In my opinion the best bagel shop in the upstate so far that I've been able to find. Friendly staff and great atmosphere.
