Used to be a favorite but it's just gone downhill over the years. This morning I was going to order one of the specials and asked if they could "put the sauce on the side." I was told they "cannot change any aspect of the meal." I replied, "I don't want to change anything - I just want the sauce on the side instead of being poured all over." The waitress then told me she was going to need to ask them in the back kitchen ... then she came out a few minutes later and said, "We don't even have that anymore - they ran out last night." It was so bizarre and almost felt like they made it up - why hand out a seasonal menu if it's not in stock? #weird

Fine, if standard, breakfast fare. Service was friendly, if a little slow.

Sunnyside Cafe is in my neighborhood so I walked over for Linch. I had the California Toasted Almond Salad that included spring lettuce mix, avocado, broccoli, carrots, cucumbers, red pepper, red onions, balsamic dressing, and of course toasted almonds. This is a big salad! I included a side of black beans for some added protein and some sourdough toast with blackberry preserves ?.My server, Lexi, was very friendly and efficient. This Cafe is my goto spot for an excellent Breakfast or a nutritious Lunch. Lots of unique breakfast items are available.

Food was especially good this time - hot off the griddle. I love the Appalachian breakfast.

Very very very bland. Eggs weren't seasoned. The fried potatoes, not seasoned well either. Waitress was great tho. Not worth the price point. Waffle House has better eggs.

The food was fantastic, the waitress who served us was very good, courteous and friendly. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because me and my kids had to wait for a very long time at a corner table that was given to us. It was when I decided to check one time before leaving if there would be service at all or they were too busy, that the waitress took on for our service. The waitress and the food made up for all the waiting. Perhaps the person seating us didn't inform anyone to go to our table. I don't know. But the food was absolutely delicious. The ambience and cleanliness were on point. Definitely a place to return to.

Cute, clean and delicious! Waitstaff is knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. Unless you are lactose intolerant, you must try the stoneground grits. I haven't had a dish I didn't like. Look, but don't touch, lol, at the Lego display near the back.

I had a great first experience at SunnySide Cafe. They had a great diverse menu with delicious breakfast options. I tried a breakfast platter that came with two eggs, hand cut home fries, bacon, and toast all for under $9. I added a side of french toast and it was well worth the extra $2. Everything is farm fresh and homemade (to include bread and salad dressings), yet the prices are still unbelievably fair given the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the food. You can’t eat at iHop for the price of SunnySide and the food is not even in the same league. The food came out quickly and was piping hot. The server was attentive and did a great job. This place is a must try for breakfast in the Clemson area!Kid-friendliness: Spacious family environment that can easily accommodate high chairs and children

The variety on the menu is outstanding. Folks looking for gluten-free and healthier options have a good amount to choose from. The OJ was EXCELLENT. And our server, Luke, was as friendly as one could be. We enjoyed chatting with him so much. One of the best breakfast experiences I've had in a long time!
