This is the only butcher shop we use. We've used them for quite some time now and drive about 45 minutes for their meat. Big D's has the best quality of meat by far. The only complaint we do have are the bags. When pulling the meat out to thaw, we've had to start putting them in casserole dishes to avoid having a liquid mess in our fridge... But other than that, these people are great! The staff are very kind and hook us up every time!

This place is the best! My wife and I no longer buy ANY meat from the actual grocery store. We started solely stocking up here. The quality of all the meats is great. Also, they have a great selection of different cuts that are hard to come by in this area. You always get great customer service and they remember all their regulars. The other great thing about this new location (he used to be downtown) is that he’s got the space to carry a lot more variety of meat so you’ll always have a great selection.Now for the food because there’s also a barbecue place attached and run by the same owner. That’s the best barbecue in Clinton hands down. It’s everything you could want out of a barbecue joint. Their sauce is made in house, all the meat is fresh, the custom service is great, and most importantly the food is delicious.We highly recommend Big “D” Butcher to anyone who wants better quality meat or just wants to stop in for some great food.
We stopped here while visiting Presbyterian College. The food was delicious and the restaurant was spotless! The brisket was some of the best I've had. Highly recommend!
