This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Clover or Lake Wylie. They've had the same staff for years that are always friendly and greet you when you come in. The wait staff keeps drinks filled and bring any add-ons quickly. I love the atmosphere as it feels warm and welcoming. The food is always accurate, served quickly, tasty and warm. Pricing is reasonable for the amount of food you get.
Have eating here for years. The food has always been good, the service is always friendly. Drinks, chips/salsa and the meal always come out quick. Getting the check sometimes can be a slow process.

It is very difficult to find a good Mexican Restaurant with good cheese dip. Some places just taste like cheap cheese which is not very good. El mexicano has the best cheese dip I have ever tasted and I can tell the cheese is not cheap ! Highly recommend, very delicious!!!
