Look, if you want Korean cuisine or Korean-American cuisine, at least check out 929, if you've never been. They recently changed their menu and redesigned the dining room/bar combo space. While the room and bar redesign was a welcome change. The menu changes were a step backwards compared to the original menu. Enough of a change to stop me from coming back. However, if you've never been then, you'll never know the difference and their new menu may be right up ypur ally. I will at least recommend that you give them a shot as the solelly Korean inspired, more authentic dishes, are still good and worth trying.

New menu is very limited. Service is still great, but don't think I'll be back for dinner.

Incredible menu and atmosphere. Bartenders Trey and Jackson were the best. The drink menu is as good as the food menu!

Good food, good sevice, and a nice atmosphere for a little korean meal. Not anything extraordinary but keeps it simple. Price could be lower but can’t complain when it comes to the location.

Very good food, but the menu and ambiance has changed. Removed the stir fry from the menu (and other dishes) and the restaurant is far too loud. Can’t hear people across from me at my table. We ordered the rice cakes and they brought out a pink easy bake oven looking device with a propane cane sticking out. Was once 5 stars is now 2 for me.

Fancy Korean Fare. The only one I've found with Pork Belly on the menu. It's an elevated atmosphere and elegant bar. But there's always a But when a perfect star rating is missing a star... When I travel the culinary world I want to feel I'm dining in a foreign country. I've tried holes in the wall mom and pop establishments and they all played American radio!!

If you are gluten free, Do NOT eat here. After the renovations & new kitchen, the staff is completely unaware of their food ingredients. I used to LOVE eating the bibimbap here, but today was a catastrophe & I'm so sick after eating the lunch box (bibimbap has been discontinued). I'm guessing it was the fried tofu or soy sauce...I should have known better to eat my meal after they sent out dumplings & the waiter didn't even know what tamari was! I used to love this place... PityOn another note, the wait staff used to be highly professional, trained waiters! Now they have college kids on their laptops, who made me feel like I intruded in their private party. I ate at the bar (did not drink as it was my lunch break) and they all ate lunch & chatted with each other while I sat there completely ignored. A real bartender knows better, as solo patrons sit at the bar for a reason!! So awkward!Dietary restrictions: NO DIETARY AWARENESS.

What a fantastic experience. Every food item was flawless, with perfectly crispy chicken, goey sticky buns, and sweet potato fries flavored so delectably that it has ruined any others. Though there are too many great-sounding drinks to try in one evening, what we did have was amazing. Service was immediate and attentive, and we appreciated that while the ambiance was strong, one could still easily converse. The only downside is the small amount of space, so be warned if trying to get a table without a reservation or at a peak time.

Service is on point! Food is pretty good and delicious. I got kimchi fried rice with chicken and miso soup from their lunch special menu and summer morning mocktail.

Bummed to see the renovation ruined this place. Took off most of the menu, raised prices on everything else.Sad to see what was once my favorite restaurant and where I took guests everytime they visited the city to thisI hope the owners read reviews and make changes so I can come back and try again.
