On a non busy night we, a party of 2, were greeted by a sullen hostess. We were seated and ignored for 15 minutes. The table was dirty. When the waitress sauntered over, there was no I’m sorry for your wait or anything. The service was abysmal. She was chewing gum like cud and was extremely nonchalant. When the food, we ordered mussels, came out they were bland and under temperature. I will not be going back again and will be contacting corporate.

It was around 4pm and the restaurant was dead (should say a lot already). The appetizer (crab cakes) were ok. The food was disgusting… I got served old fish (Mahi Mahi). Had me nauseous the whole time, the smell is what hit me first, it was horrendous, so you know it shouldn’t have been served. The server even noticed the putrid smell on it. Anyone who really cooks in ANY kitchen knows better than to serve that. The price is too high for that mess.

Once was my fav place, food still good but the service is slow. They always out of glasses. The male bartender has a attitude when u want your drink a certain way. There most host at the front as greeters than there servers. Poor management.

I ordered trout with okra, butter beans, and black eyed peas. The vegetables were not done at all. Poured out of the frozen back and unthawed. The trout was good though.
Their customer service is Horrid. I have gone before but the last few times have been terrible. I decided to go again to see if there was a change and unfortunately not so. I had a server who came to take our orders. I placed the appetizer order and after 20 something minutes, she never came back. She kept serving all around and kept looking in our direction but never came. After I went to the front to ask for another server, she then showed up and asked is everything ok? I said No, you never came back to take the order. She said well, i was going to do it once i brought out your appetizer...I said its been my experience that the order is still placed and the appetizers are brought before the meal but you still take the order...she said well...It depends on the waiter....I said In all my years of dining I've never had that and then I saw you looking our direction... She threw up her hands and said "OH THIS IS DRAMATIC" and walked away. Needless to say, I left without eating.. I wont be returning anytime soon. I was being patient...but kindness does not take a lot

Came here for the first time in a year or so for dinner on a Saturday night. We were seated right away but waited about 10 minutes before a server stopped by our table to ask if we've been helped yet. The server we got was really nice but disappeared for long periods of time.The drinks we got were pretty good. I got the shipwreck, and my husband got the peach of heaven. Crab dip was pretty good, but could use some more bread, and it was luke warm but was steaming like it was extremely hot. I ordered the she crab soup because I remembered it being absolutely delicious previously......man was I disappointed! The soup was very bland with a milky water taste. It was very bad. We were told that I was the 3rd person to send the soup back that day. My husband got the blackened catfish, and he said it was ok. Both his food and mine came out steaming like the food was piping hot, but it wasn't it was the oddest thing because everything was just warm. Even after he was done eating (15 mins), the food was still steaming excessively as if it had just come out. I have never experienced anything like that!To make things even worse as we are sitting there waiting for our check, a little boy (maybe 6) comes to our table to ask us if we want to buy candy from him....we politely declined. I then proceeded to see him go to every table and ask the same thing with his dad/guardian following behind him, even giving his phone to people so they could pay for the candy with a card! They even went into the private party room and went around the table asking each and every person in the private party. We were shocked and asked our server if they had a no solicitation policy, to which she said no and added that they even sell another employees jewelry at the hostess stand.Needless to say, this will be our last time going here, which is so sad as we have always loved this restaurant, but it definitely isn't what it used to be.

I was ready for the she crab soup appetizer. It literally had no taste. The bread was hard and dry. Pork chop was pretty good. I think they could have done something different with the spinach, apple sweet potatoes. Maybe sautéed with more seasoning. The Jam Jar Shiraz wine was probably the most satisfying part of the meal.
