If you know what good fish is, and intend to order sashimi, steer clear of this place. Grocery store quality fish at above premium grade prices and below average serving sizes.I sat at the bar and ordered unagi, salmon, maguro, scallop, and a single hand roll; bill was $87 before tip. Left wildly disappointed in quality for price, and worse, still hungry! Felt like I got scammed.Go get a $15 dominos pizza, you'll be much more satisfied...footnote: Camon just changed ownership and doesn't have an alcohol license yet, so no sake. Plus the sushi chefs are babbling, unprofessional college kids still learning how to cut fish and make rolls.

Delicious food and outstanding service!! And their new green tea crepes were the perfect dessert to end the experience.

Celebrated our 1st year anniversary and it was a lovely experience. Calvin and Veronica made sure we had a good time here. We set a reservation and anticipated the sushi chef per the pictures to be there, but we were informed due to COVID, he was required to retire. It appeared that there were college students rolling sushi instead. However, the sushi was rolled well and LOVED that the nigiri included the little dab of wasabi under the fish, which is the correct way to roll sushi. Another fact that made me really happy to hear is they cut and prepare the fish in house, that's cool! Calvin brought out this white soy sauce for the sushi and that paired so well! My only complaint was they do not sell beer or liquor at this time as they were in the process of updating their license. Green tea is just fine though. If you want ACTUAL authentic Japanese sushi cuisine, you have to come here!!

This place has such a cute atmosphere, welcoming you with a sliding door and warm lighting. I had the Lifesaver roll and the Camon II roll, my friend had the cold soba, and we shared the veggie/shrimp tempura. It was all delicious and we will definitely be back when we're in Columbia!

I have no clue why this is one of the highest rated sushi restaurants in Columbia. Sam’s Club sushi or Kroger’s sushi is more preferable than this. I read reviews saying this is authentic, which is why i gave this place a chance but it’s not. You know it’s a bad sign when there are no Japanese people at a Japanese restaurant. Everybody making the rolls and in the back were college students. Not to mention, the atmosphere is hideous. Old, uncomfortable school chairs and tables with cheaply decorated Japanese lanterns you can find in any store. There is nothing redeemable about this place, the service is good but that doesnt make up for the lack of atmosphere or food. Might be tolerable for you if you’ve never been outside the country side or had actual sushi ?‍♂️. This place has a 3.9 on apple maps which is way more accurate of a score.

We stopped here after a long drive craving for sushi and we could have picked a better place, sushi was fresh, delicious and well priced. We ordered the Camon roll which is the most popular, miso soup was so tasty, good service. 20/10

One of Columbia’s hidden gems. The sushi here is EXCELLENT. The prices are quite reasonable, especially given the high quality of the food. The traditional Japanese atmosphere is peaceful and the service is top-notch. I will definitely be back!
