Easily the worst Mexican food we have had in a long time. We drove in from Texas for an ARMY graduation at Fort Jackson and had this place recommended by some acquaintances. Absolutely horrific experience. After a lengthy drive, we sat down and wanted to enjoy some happy hour margaritas, but met immediate resistance from the hostess and waitress advising that my wife and I would both be required to ordered plates or platters, nothing from the appetizer menu or A La Carte menu in order to qualify for the happy hour drink special of $1.99 house margaritas. Fine, not a problem as we both plan on eating, but a previous surgery prevents me from eating and drinking within 45 minutes of each other so I informed them that we planned on having a few drinks before ordering food. It was finally approved, but absolutely pathetic how they handled this situation. I’m sure some folks try to take advantage of happy hour, but the employees should not treat everyone like cheapskates. The margaritas were horrible. Even the discounted price was too much for that urine. Worst margaritas we have had on this road trip and then our food came out. Crunchy tacos that were already soggy and cold, falling apart as we tried to pick them up which was ridiculous. The rice was also cold but the beans were lukewarm. How in the heck do you service this mess from the kitchen? I don’t believe even half of the reviews now because we were excited to try this place and was served junk. Taco Bell serves hotter, better quality food for a much better price. The salsa bar was the star of the show and the chips were pretty good, but I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy. Just Terrible.

Best thing about this place was the salsa bar. The portion size was decent and if it tasted better, i would have gotten a to go box. Asked the waitress to break a $20 and she brought me 2 tens. kind of presumptuous to expect a $10 tip on a $30 check... Anyway, probably won't go back.
