Why take one or the best chicken places in the city and ruin it? The food used to be so good before the menu change, and fast. And I wouldn't even mind the price increase if the food measured up. But now you pay more money for mediocre chicken and slow service.Took over 30 minutes at lunch time. No thanks. Go to Zestos or Bernies for a much better experience.

I wanted to check out the new space on Main Street and their new menu. So good! Ordered the Drake’s salad with grilled chicken and the new fresh cut fries. Salad is a good size and great lunch option.

Parking sucks. Wonderful customer service at counter. Best French fries ever! Very nice fried chicken. The only reason I won't return is because of the lack of parking and the parking fees.

There are a lot of big names in chicken in the area, but zero of them compare to this place! The last time I had chicken this juicy and crispy, my grandmother made it. Heck, I'm sorry MawMaw, but this place would be your new favorite, too! The fries were well cooked, nothing tasted like old oil, and for the price? You can't beat it!The place looks really unassuming, the menu is small, but that is part of why the quality is so great! We will be returning customers, and we hope this place has all the success they deserve. If you like fried chicken or grilled chicken sandwiches, do yourself a favor. GO HERE!I had two chicken legs with fries and two rolls and a bottled water. My fiancé had a grilled chicken filet sandwich with tomato and bacon with a lemonade. Both of our meals were amazing. Plus, the lemonade is fantastic, too!I forgot to take a picture before I ate a whole leg, it was that great!Dietary restrictions: They do have some options if fried is not your thing, but it is a chicken place.Parking: It could be difficult to find parking if you're here during peak times of lunch or dinner. We were able to park immediately when we came in, though.

After reading so many positive reviews about Drake’s I was really excited to have the opportunity to try it. However, unfortunately my experience was not nearly as positive as others. I got an ok amount of food for the price but it didn’t get much better from there. When I walked into the restaurant the first thing I noticed was the floors. They sadly looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in forever. I stood at the counter for only a couple minutes and I could feel the stick on my shoes, even walking into the restaurant the floors were so sticky and dirty they were dark brown and you could hear it clear as day. When I got home, which is only a couple minutes away, the chicken was crispy for the most part but the rest of my meal wasn’t great. Sadly the chicken tasted like absolutely nothing and I legit mean nothing. The breading wasn’t seasoned, the chicken wasn’t seasoned, it was the blandest chicken I’ve ever had. It also was super dry and not very tender. It felt like it had been sitting out for hours. The fries also were soggy and the portion was tiny for having to pay extra for a side of fries. The absolute worst part was there was bones in my chicken sandwich! I found three bones in my one sandwich. I can tell you with absolute confidence that the best part of my meal was the Coke. This place is not worth it at all. I was so sad that my experience was not as great as others and I’m not sure why that is. I saw articles about how it was voted the best fried chicken but based on my experience I find that so hard to believe. I don’t think I’ll ever go back

Came in for a quick lunch and ordered two hotdogs and two fries. Had to come back up because their card reader wasn't working. The wait time wasn't long, but after waiting and receiving my hotdogs, I sat there for a couple more minutes and was confused why I didn't get my full order. I proceeded to go back to the register and they told me I didn't order fries after I sat there, and Told her again I ordered fries. After going back-and-forth I just ended up not caring and said forget it. I paid for the hotdogs and tipped her $10 so kind of frustrated at the service especially since it's my first time coming and trying to support. I just don't like that the issue wasn't situated and instead she began going back-and-forth. Will not be returning.
