The food was amazing and the service was great! We had to wait for about 30 minutes as a group of four to be seated but to us it was worth it. We all ordered different food and no one was upset with what the got.Parking: While you probably are not supposed to a lot of people parked at the food lion across the street and walked over.
I have loved The Flying Biscuit Cafe for years, although I've only been to the ones in Georgia. This location... well was a little different from the normal experience. I came in, was greeted and seated immediately, great, all was well. I waited 15 minutes, the waiter completely ignored me and took the table that came in 10 minutes after me. I was never even acknowledged for a drink, I sat there like a ghost. Not sure what happened or why but my plans to eat here was abruptly ended. I won't beg anyone to wait on me.

Walked in ready to eat, party of 4. Got seated but never got served. After waiting asked the hostess for our waiter, she went and checked. Long story short, we waited about 15 mins. No one ever came so we left. And we are visitors from GA.I give this place a 0 for bad customer service! Probably won't try again!!

If i lived in Columbia, I would eat at the Flying Biscuit at least once or twice a week..or more. I have never had a bad meal there and the staff is very friendly. Someone would be hard pressed to find a better breakfast/brunch meal and atmosphere.

Nice atmosphere as its homestyle and kitschy, but the service was poor, and the food was less than what you would expect for the price. It's not worth your time or money. The one in Ballantyne in Charlotte is far superior in quality and service!!The oveeasy eggs were wet and more sunny side up, and the amount of butter/oil that came with it made it swim. The avocado toast was very tart and unexpectedly sour with very little tomato on it. The biscuit was decent, but nothing exceptional because it was so dry inside and out, which soaked up the apple butter on impact.The service was less than what you expected when you're expected to pay for the server's wages by tipping. Pay the staff a living wage and tell people not to tip and watch the service quality increase. There's a tiny coffee cup and only able to get one refill. The server didn't even offer water's. Halfway through the meal, they never even asked if we were doing okay with the meal.
