I'm informed they are closed and out of business. May want to be sure before going. Just saying. I miss them.

Why is Groucho’s on Forest Drive temporarily closed?

Stayed open late for us. Our server, Claire was very nice and did a great job. Massive sandwich. Great local business. Love the WW2 planes hanging from the ceiling. Great experience all around. Highly recommend.

Awesome sandwich shop slightly hidden. This is a small locally owned chain. I suggest the full size STP. The waitstaff is always friendly and seem to enjoy their job. I belive they still give law enforcement and military discounts. When I visit home this is one of the places I like to come to. After you are done a nice park is within walking distance.

Came in tonight (Thursday) and there was hardly anyone there when we first arrived. Put our order in and watched as several people came in after us and received their to-go orders before we did. One lady came in well after we’d been seated and put her order in at the front because their phone wasn’t working as she said. She received her food before we did. Long story short, we never received our order and ended up telling them to cancel it. On top of that, we watched a manager speak to everyone in the restaurant except for us. He walked past us several times and did not acknowledge us but made a point to speak to every other customer who walked in. Apparently he called himself being mad that we cancelled the order because he was aggressively closing doors and moving things around in the back when I went back in to ask why the order took so long. I’ve never had an issue with this location before but after tonight I’ll rethink my decision to eat here.

Absolutely horrible experience, waited over an hour for a family of 4. Absolutely ridiculous and unfair to have two young children sit and wait over an hour for a meal that should take 5 minutes to make. It was so bad that we saw friends walk in and encouraged them to go elsewhere because of how long we had been waiting, and didn’t want them to waste their valuable time doing the same. Our waiter was as friendly and kind as he could be and kept apologizing for the wait. The sad part is I have read many comments just like mine over the past few months about the wait times and the lackluster food (our sandwiches were not even hot once we did eventually get them), but clearly the owner does not care about improving quality of the food or timely manner in which it’s served. If I owned a small business that was clearly in need of some help, I would be there along side the staff. It is known Sunday’s are a busy day at any restaurant, it’s not a hard task to figure out when your staff and customers, and business need assistance. Groucho’s franchise should further investigate this business and find out where the holes are, otherwise I don’t see customers returning as I know I have learned my lesson and my family will not be back.

Nice, clean place and friendly service. And those sandwiches was good like always on Groucho's.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I haven’t even eaten my food yet but this review is not about that. While my husband and I waited for our food we sat at the bar stool counter. A man who was clearly the owner or the worlds worst manager came storming through the restaurant and proceeded to scream at an employee over a trashcan not getting emptied fast enough. The employee replied that he was busy making food so this man went to the front counter and yelled at his front of house employees over the same thing. Then he caught me staring at him bc of his actions and he went back to the kitchen again and screamed at them for “upsetting the nice lady at the counter waiting for her food”. Unfortunately for him, it was his verbal abuse towards his staff that disgusted me. I’m surprised he even has any staff left based on what I saw today. Absolutely unacceptable.

Super busy Friday but the staff was on point and had our take out order ready a few minutes early. Really appreciate the team at Groucho’s Forest Drive!

I was working in the area and went in for lunch. I did arrive at 12:13 on a Friday which I expected is their busy time of the day. Having only an hour, I ordered what I though would be one of the easiest orders. Chicken salad on white bread, potato salad, and a Tea to go, costing 14.60 with a tip. After the employees asking me several times what complex order or how many sandwiches I had ordered, they wrote my name on a dry erase board which I guessed was prioritizing the order. They must have lost my single order as I saw several people receive their orders that had come in after me. Well, this took 39 minutes and I had to gobble it down at my work desk because I was out of time for lunch. The chicken salad was of but nothing special as it tasted as it had come out of a can, and I was given some kind of salad (maybe fancy coleslaw) instead of the potato salad I had ordered. I will not be going back to Groucho’s deli anytime in the future.

Generally the staff is nice but the orders are consistently ready way later then online says they will be. If you know it's going to take another 30 min tell the customer when they order online so they don't have to wait 30 extra min at the restaurant.

I will not be going to the Forest Drive location ever again. This is the 3rd time I’ve placed an online order well in advance and proceeded to have to wait in the store for 30+ minutes each time, even after showing up more than 15 minutes after the provided ETA. It’s clear they dont even look at your order until you show up and the staff do not seem to care that they are wasting your time. Better off ordering in store or going somewhere else. Extremely unfortunate as Im a huge fan of the food

I wasn't going to make this a review, but here we are.... Our office decided to order Groucho's for lunch today. Two of us got to order than no one else was able to submit their orders, and we couldn't get anyone on the phone. So everyone but the 2 of us left to go get lunch elsewhere and we had to stay behind. Then, when our lunch is picked up I open mine up and instead of chips there are pretzels. I did not ask for pretzels. For all these reasons and the fact that you no longer have the pretzel crusted brownies you have made it to the "do not order" list.

Service is a little slow but there's only two people working the counter and they're doing their best, and friendly while doing so. Food is always good too.
