Yesterday, I shared a review of the "Lick Ice Cream" establishment, expressing disappointment with their customer service. The owner responded, claiming their sales associate offered a kiddie cup, which never happened. They also refused to replace the ice cream that fell, placing blame on us. While I acknowledge my child's role in dropping the ice cream, it was just one lick. Despite the high prices, I ended up paying $11 for two cones and had to buy another due to my daughter's upset. Even McDonald's would have replaced a meal if it fell. This incident highlights the importance of hospitality in customer service.

I had a terrible experience with the customer service at Lick establishment. Despite being a repeat customer, this will be my final visit. I ordered ice cream for my daughter and me, but within two minutes of receiving it, my daughter accidentally dropped hers in front of the cashier after taking just one lick. Despite the mishap, when I politely asked for a replacement, the cashier refused. Even though I had paid in cash and they couldn't provide change, they still declined to give us another ice cream. When I requested a refund, they flat out refused. Even speaking to the owner yielded no results, as they also denied both a refund and a replacement ice cream. It was heartbreaking to see my daughter in tears, and I ended up having to purchase another ice cream myself.

This was my first but definitely not the last time we go here. If you are looking for a neat place to go get a special ice cream, this is the place to go. They have some very unique and creative ice cream concoctions. These things aren't cheap but they are very, very delicious and we shared a small one and didn't want any more.

I’m giving this location an overall 3 due to them not having any vegan ice cream choices. They offer sherbets which is overly sweet. Their website is very misleading to the options they offer. If you’re looking for vegan ice cream check out Brusters located in Sandhills.

First time visiting Lick tonight off Clemson Rd. We were all excited when we seen all the different signature milkshakes. We are a family of five…four of us got a signature milkshake. All of them we ordered to go. We waited quite sometime which we were perfectly okay with given our order and the fact they had customers still coming in. All of the items ordered were great, except one. I ordered a green machine. When I got home and went to eat my shake I was so disappointed. There wasn’t a thing mint about my shake. The shake itself was straight vanilla. I didn’t receive mint ice cream, no mint candies….I got the plainest vanilla shake in a cup with chocolate and green sprinkle on the outside with a brownie on the side. We spent almost $70 and the fact I couldn’t even enjoy my shake was very upsetting. I threw it right in the freezer for one of my kids to eat later in the week because plain vanilla isn’t something I wanted.

I had the coffee cookie and cream ice cream on a waffle cone. So delicious. The staff was excellent. The shop was super clean and smelled freshly clean. Many favorites of ice cream. This is now my ice cream go to place.
