I really wanted to like this place! And I finally had a weekday off to try it so I bought a few things to make the most of my visit. I spent $50 on the PLT, a brownie bite, a lemon square, and the small take home tettrazini and breakfast casserole. The PLT bread was hard and the provolone was paper thin and jagged, hardly any flavor. Cole slaw was really good though! I thought they had redeemed themselves when I baked the take home dinner that night, it was really good with a little salt and pepper! But the breakfast casserole the next morning was watery and terrible. There are no dates, ingredients or nutritional facts on the take home items so beware.. Pretty sure the casserole was watery because it was freezer burned. It's a shame, I really wanted to support a local business

I love Lillians but was extremely disappointed last week to see how drastically they've cut the portion of chicken salad on the green salad option. It was barely a tablespoonful! So in effect, I paid $17 for a plate of lettuce, a tablespoonful of pasta salad, and a tablespoonful of fruit, and a cup of iced tea. That is outrageous. I would be embarrassed to hand a customer something like that. Realizing food prices have increased, I would prefer that they be honest about their pricing (raise them) and portions than to be treated that way. Sadly, I won't be back, as great as their food is.

I eat at Lillian’s at least 3 times a week. It’s the freshest, most delicious lunch in Columbia. The mother/son combo behind the register and in the kitchen are always so so kind and accommodating. Can’t say enough about the food or team.

Love this place. The salads are my favorite. Fresh food every time! I think they could use an update on their decor and tables but it's still a cute place but food is fabulous! My favorite tea is here too...tropical tea!

Tiny little lunch place in Forest Acres with some delish salads and incredible spinach pies. Very very tiny little shop so they can take a little while to get your stuff out, but its worth it. Their famous Bunny Salad is incredible and I highly recommend one of their baked goods for a little dessert.

I've not gone to Lillian's sandwich shop once and been disappointed. The food is always fresh, made to order, and fast. Its my go to for something quick and light, but not 100% processed.Vegetarian options: Their vegetarian options have been a tasty life saver on my meatless weeks.

Tried this place once before it was ok thought I'd give it another shot was disappointed again....pasta salad was dry as a bone and Cole slaw was not fresh, cabbage mix was turning in color...tasted like just vinegar and some cayenne pepper sandwich was mediocre

I'd heard this was good, so 4 of our lunch group went last Tuesday. I really had no idea of what to expect, but based on a neighbors recommendation I sort of thought it would be like a fine little bistro with nice seating. It was a small place with really no decorations, small tables with some metal chairs, and a counter in the rear to place your orders. Nothing wrong with any of it, just not what I envisioned. The menu is very healthy, with basically chicken and Turkey sandwiches, wraps, and a vegan section. Three of us ordered the Turkey club sandwiches and one ordered the chicken wrap. The sandwiches came with a side pasta which was good. Everyone liked their food. They have canned soda and a styrofoam cup with ice. We all were satisfied with the food, but everyone said we probably wouldn't go back due to the limited menu items.

I hate to give a bad review to a restaurant because I understand how hard it is to be in business for yourself. The idea here is to give the manager some tips for improvement so the place can do better. They need a separate team to do takeout orders so ppl who actually are sitting there don’t have to wait so long. They need a pleasant person at the order counter. They need to up their game on the quality of their food. 30$ for a mediocre salad and sandwich (no drinks) will not make us want to return.

I used to love this place. Once mother Lilian passed and their main employee quit things went downhill. Same ingredients but food isn't tasty and people are rude.
