Food was decent. Only employee who seemed to have some type of customer service was doing his best to take orders, deliver orders. The bathroom was locked. They wouldn’t unlock it for anyone. Stated “because someone could be in it” went across the street and was told due to objects being flushed such as “needles, pipes, and etc” none of them were unlocking their doors.

Guy at the register was more interested in the 1970s rerun of the price is right, even looking around me to watch. Didn't say a word to me. I ordered the brisket, it was mostly fat and disappointing. Not worth your time!

Guy at the register seem like he wasn’t in a good mood. A smile and good customer service goes a long way. They were out of ribs and bone in chicken. I should turned around when he said that but I really wanted BQQ . I wanted to order a 2: 2 meats & 2 side dinner . I only got charged for one & they charge me for a 1 meat on the other order. Anywho after I ask for just brisket the guy said that it would be 12$ and some change when the 1 meat & 2 sides is already 12.99$ what I look like paying 24$ for the 2nd order when the 3 meat and sides is basically 20 something dollars. The lemonade wasn’t even good. Very bitter and watery. I didn’t even eat my food yet. But my wings, Mac & Cheese look dry also. Barely any gold sauce on the wings.I’m really disappointed because the other locations are really good but I won’t be returning to this one.

This place is a scam I’m not from here an I just ordered food from Maurice’s 52 dollars worth for an Uber delivery the driver actually picked my order up an almost had it delivered an for some reason Maurice’s canceled the order an is keeping my money told me to come down to the restaurant an take it up in person can you believe these people

Delicious Carolina BBQ! Me and my husband loved this place while we were here at Jackson! We will miss it when we move. Most of the bad reviews are most likely from people who aren't from the south. This BBQ joint is specifically South Carolina BBQ- mustard based. Depending on where you go in the south, there's different BBQ styles that are used. Give this place a try and see what you think!

It had been at least 20 years since I'd eaten at Maurice's, and I remembered it as good. Either my memory is failing, or the place has gone down hill. The food was very expensive, but not special in any way. The parking lot was poorly lit, the man at the counter couldn't have been less engaging, and we couldn't wait to leave.
I went to this location (Devine St) today for the first time. The macaroni and cheese was dry as heck and oversalted and they only gave me 4 onion rings with a leg quarter for a whopping $12.01. NEVER AGAIN!

Place was freezing cold. Food was delicious, I favored the sides more than the meat honestly. Hush puppies were sooo good, mac and cheese was to die for. I got three meals out of my $20 dinner. Pulled pork in Carolina BBQ sauce was pretty good. I will go back to buy their sauces.Parking: Not a lot of parking spots and very tight
Not for everybody, I still think they have the best BBQ sandwich around. Hash and rice I love, coleslaw, etc. Only thing that I think they could do better, is dessert. My absolutely frozen pie, sucked, but love your bbq

SC BBQ around Columbia Trail, Stop #1. My first real SC BBQ joint in SC. I had to try SC BBQ to have an honest opinion about it. So far so good. Still on team Eastern NC, but if I had to choose between this SC style and whatever it is I'm having to put up with in GA/AL, then I'll happily take a plate of this mustard-Q. I enjoyed my food and would recommend the place to friends and family. Clean place and friendly staff.

Hi there, Google Gang. It's yo Boi BiggHall. I visited this SPOT to try their new smoked wings, and I have to say, I was rather impressed. Right off the smoker, these wings were very good in taste, and the texture complimented the appearance or presentation... I usually stop by for their double cheese burger and fries, but the wings were very good, the staff were friendly and professional as well. Thank you, staff, as I will continue to do business with you...
