Gorgeous hotel restaurant in the heart of Downtown Columbia features all you would expect from the Marriott brand. The food was perfectly prepared, and my cocktail was one of the best Old Fashions I’ve ever had. Waitress / bargirl was very attentive and friendly, atmosphere was low lit upscale classy. Very much enjoyed it here. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Dined at Midlands because I was in the hotel for a conference. Service was very good. Our attendants made sure we had everything we needed with a smile. Not always easy when you have a large group. Food was okay, not bad, just not great either. Most of us shared our dishes with each other to taste a little of everything.

Not enough staff for a busy Friday night, very slow, lots of tables, and lots of waiting. Pretty much your standard hotel food, nothing special at all. Same salad and cheap pizza available at any number of hotels. But, very pricy, above average pricy.

The food and atmosphere were amazing. They made our party fee at home. Sean (Assistant F&B Director) was very professional and accommodating! The manger and waitress were also wonderful. It was lovely meeting the Chef as well.

The bartender and waitress were really nice. There's a full bar selection, nothing fancy but they do have drink specials listed on a stand-up chalkboard. There's open seating concept, with a tv at the bar if you'd like to catch a sports game. The menu had great options, however my chicken Ceasar salad was bland. I would definitely try the gluten free pizza next time. I also overheard the bottle of wine paired well with the cheesecake!

Located in the Marriott lobby, we walked in after lunchtime and before dinner time, and the place was completely empty. It didn't seem like they were expecting anyone for at least another few hours - all this not a complaint. Our group got the bang bang shrimp tacos, pulled pork burger, thai shrimp (?), and the shrimp grits which were mine. All around very good! Large shrimp, the bang bang tacos had great flavour, the pulled pork was tender, the Thai shrimp was more sweet and sour flavoured but not bad, as for the shrimp grits they tasted like it was cooked in coconut milk? very cheesy, slightly sweet from the corn, overall alright, but the sweetness did make me dislike just a tad.
