The new place doesn't have as much sitting room, I miss that. I really enjoyed the space and privacy the old spot provided. However, the new place is bright and airy. The food remains top notch.

I’ve always loved the vibe and food of Panera and enjoy my Lexington, SC location. However, the owner/or corporate of the *NEW* COLUMBIA/HARBISON please read your reviews and FIX the common complaints before this new location goes down hill and feels like it’s in a bad area with lazy employees you’d find in a BK/Mc Donald’s. I’m attaching a couple of pictures of the outside that seem to capture the lack of interest of the franchise owner. Today I ordered at the kiosk for a rapid p/u. I stood several minutes by the p/u area with my name on the board stating my order was ready but nothing there. I watched as several dishes of prepared food were being placed on the counter w/o any names being called, so the food just sat. When I finally asked someone that glanced my way where I was to p/u my cup she then directed me to get into the regular line which was behind people being waited on … mmm ?… sort of defeats the rapid p/u kiosk idea. With what’s been mentioned in other reviews not thinking the franchise owner cares so I plan to call corporate tomorrow - maybe they will.

We tried 2 new sandwiches & was very disappointed especially with the Tomato Basil BLT! The toppings were very slim, barely had any bacon on it & was hard to taste the bacon, was put on the wrong bread I asked for & needed cheese, pretty bland! Very expensive sandwiches that didn’t taste that great! Plus they don’t have their pumpkin muffins anymore which were the best I’ve ever had! That was a huge disappointment along with how overcooked their pastries are! Bummer since this is a new location they moved to, had high hopes for them until I tried their food! Service at the register with only one associate was very slow too! Plus the associate at the register asked if I wanted to use my reward & told her yes & never got the credit! Never got my free pastry for my birthday either!

I’m sorry guys. Your new space is pretty. However, I’m not sure the employees could move more slowly. Literally NO urgency.I know it’s just a sandwich but it doesn’t need to take 30 mins to receive an order.

Went to the new Panera Bread on Harbison Blvd. Liked the atmosphere but disappointed in the service. I brought a $5 coupon received in mail to get a latte. Was told I had to use the coupon on a gift card at a future visit. What??? Next, they didn’t have any gift cards to give me. So, no Panera coupon redemption for me. And, no offer for assistance. Do you really want repeat customers?

Ordered two coffees in drive thru. Took over 10 minutes. Asked for sigar and cream. Took5 min for him to get cteam and sugar from the back. He gave us equal instead of sugar and coffee was cold. Not going back

I love Panera Bread, however, my first visit to the new location was sad. 1st, I had 3 gift cards loaded to my app, but was told I couldn't use them [only if I order online through the app), which is fine. So I paid for the order. The girl said I had a free cookie reward, so I asked to use it for Chocolate chip. I also had a promotional coupon for a $5 gift card with purchase, so I took advantage of that as well. Used the restroom while I was waiting, no toilet paper. Yuck! Came back to get my order. Almost forgot about the gift card, aa ahe never gave it to me, so I had to ask for it. Also realized that the free cookie wasn't in the bag. I was told they were all bagged in front of the register, so they picked it out and put it in my bag. Left the restaurant only to find out that they charged me $3 for the cookie, so I came back to get a refund. Got home to eat my chocolate chip cookie and not only was it stale, but it wasn't chocolate chip. It was oatmeal raisin and berries. Yuck again.
