First time going, the food was amazing and had a lot of flavor. Wait time was a little long but that was to be expected since food is made to order. Ivan and staff were very friendly and hospitality was great. Definitely going back in the future!

Advertised as having "Soul Food" I was disappointed to learn my fried chicken breast was boneless. My chicken livers were overcooked and my vegetables had the texture of baby food. (As if it had been shredded) The cornbread was good but I had to wait an hour and a half for it since it was forgotten to begin with. NEVER AGAIN!

I've ordered delivery a few times from here. I took off a star because there is a discrepancy between what the delivery app shows and what you get. I've chosen the fish combo and it makes you select a drink (says "required" and won't let you proceed). The restaurant does not honor it by giving a drink explaining that it's extra. I don't know which end has to fix it but it needs to be updated. Other than that, real "country cooking". Reminds me of some of grandmother's meals.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. For $50 we got stale fries , plain hotdogs, okay burger, and SMALL dry cake. I had very high expectations but after today I will not be coming back. The only thing that was decent was the service. Don’t recommend if your looking for something worth your while. Maybe because of covid is why it was off but still they need to do better.

We did a to-go order this past weekend. First let me say I didn’t realize they closed at 6pm, so I called around 5:59 and they were nice enough to take my order. First time ordering/eating there and had no clue what was available but they were patience with me and helped me order. I know some of this seems trivial but it’s hard getting good customer service in the food industry these days. So I was pleased to say the least. Now on to the food. IT WAS AMAZING. We got a fish sandwich, burger, pork chops with gravy and rice and mac n cheese. Everything was good and fresh even close to closing. We have added this to our go to spots when we want to dine out.
