After church l felt like some soul food. So l googled some places and saw Southern Crave. I saw the drive was almost 30 minutes so l said since it’s Easter Sunday l just know they gonna show out. I hate having to do this cause as a black woman that supports black own businesses. This was my first and last time going to this place. The experience was not good at all. I walked in there was no greetings no hello no happy Easter no Thank you for coming no have a nice day. Black businesses need to learn that Customer Service matters. Cause we don’t have to come to your establishment to spend our hard earned money especially when there are plenty other places we could have went. I’m not saying kiss tail but show appreciation to customers. On to the food l ordered Chicken and Waffles didn’t see my food until l got home. I was disappointed 8 little wings and waffles that looked like donuts. Omg your suppose to do whole wings and waffles. The chicken had no seasoning or taste the waffles had no taste and gooey. I couldn’t eat the waffles and threw them away. Instead of focusing on putting the food in those fancy containers. Put the focus and energy on cooking good food.

a gem of a spot to get southern food in NE! now it's the south and every claims to have the best of everything but let me tell y'all, without a shadow of a doubt, their food SLAPS! i had the fried chicken platter with the mac n cheese and candied yams. when i tell yall EVERYTHING was seasoned to perfection! the chicken was crispy and juicy. the mac and cheese was CHEESY and the noodles were flavorful. the yams had just enough texture to them. if i could give this 100 stars i would. chris (owner) and his team do a great job of providing not just quick service but a friendly atmosphere as well. this is a to go establishment so there's no seating but the decor is bright and welcoming. lastly, we sampled some of the oxtail and when i tell y'all they were out of this world! not everyone can make oxtails. these were smoked and seasoned to PERFECTION! will definitely be coming back and getting that next time.

Rice was gummy, gravy definitely not homemade & tasted terrible, Mac & cheese was old & smelled bad, chicken is for sure store bought dipped in buffalo sauce…a wasted ride &

Ok I normally dont do this but, I'm not returning!!! I ordered the big plate with 2 meats and 3 sides . I did the brisket, oxtails, rice n gravy, mac n cheese and candied yams. The brisket look like 2 strips of bacon. The oxtails was tough, no flavor from the gravy, rice was way over cooked with no salt, mac n cheese had no salt not even the noodles. The yams was good tho. But I spent $54.00 in this place and is very disappointed cause I was really wanting that. I wont be back.

Was looking forward to the place but will most likely not return. Chicken was seasoned well but not fully cooked inside, mac and cheese was not the best, but the rice and gravy was decent. Overall not a good first time experience.

This is a hidden gem and so glad it's on my side of town! Keep in mind that this is a To-Go concept so don't expect for a full service sized building with seating but the food is DELICIOUS!! The ambiance when you walk in is simple yet bright. We walked in and didn't have to wait long before it was our turn which says a lot about their friendly service. The wait time was not bad either for the amount of food we ordered! The prices were extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get, which is a big thing for our family. If you want some good southern comfort food, I highly recommend this place!

This is our third time picking up from Southern Crave and I must say, They put their foot in it again! My wife ordered the Country fried Chicken three times in a row because she can’t get over how perfectly seasoned and tender it is. I tried the Lamb chops this time and I was not disappointed. OMG! I ordered mine medium well and they were delicious. I highly recommend them but beware they are one of the more pricier dishes. We also love their collars greens and MAC & cheese. Check them out and I promise you that you’ll love them too.

0/10.... Oxtail were tough, macaroni was dry, Fried Chicken needed to be fried longer. Oxtails tasted and smelled lighter fluid.... The worst food I have ever eaten.... Very disappointed especially for that
