One of my fav places around Cola. and I've spent most of my time here for a quarter century. Owned by the Scottish guy, Stevo, who is usually there, whenever you show up. This is a small neighborhood bar and they're not open very late (10pm except 11+ Fri.-Sat.). I've spent time in bars/pubs around the world & this is classic. Amazing staff. Not many of them and I've known them all for years. They speak when you walk in, have it ready before you get to the bar. But hey--Stevo only hires class act experienced chefs. This is Not bar food, folks. The menu has limited options but it's all killer. If you haven't been in before, try the hamburger steak OMfnG, or fish N chips (fam recipe from fkn Scotland), or weird tacos, burgers, etc. Bring a date here!! I did. Karaoke twice a month Sun. nights, a lot of fun.

I am a regular here. Is is an awesome neighborhood pub. The food is great. Great beers, well-mixed drinks served by great people. I noted a poor review of one of the server/bartenders, and I could not be more dumbfounded. I often stop by there for an after-work cocktail and to enjoy those around me. Even though I am there many times a week, I have never seen any bartender there give away alcohol, ignore customers in favor of hanging out with friends, or otherwise be anything great to the customers. I can only assume that the poor reviewer has an act to grind with the server and decided to handle it in a public forum instead to being up from about it. This is a great place. All the people who work there are great.

I noticed a poor review from a few days before this post that I can't help but address as disingenuous. It reeks of a vendetta laced fan fiction from a high schooler desperate for revenge. Law Enforcement officials will tell you that when recounting a story that is a lie, a liar will get oddly specific and that rings true here. This reviewer attacks the bartender with strange specificity, as opposed to, say, focusing on his experience. It was odd down to knowing the owner has a cameras to review. More like this person has a personal grudge and is trying to use Yelp as a weapon. Being a regular, I have never seen anything like this transpire. It didn't happen. I don't think this establishment wouldn't be so popular if it was true. So let's turn a negative into a positive review from a longtime regular. I thought revenge yelping was so 2010. Have been a regular here for the last 10 years, all I can say is if you live in The Rosewood/Shandon areas of Columbia - this is the place to be. It's as authentic an English (Scottish) Pub as it gets - fantastic food, pretty strong list of craft beers on tap, and a welcoming community atmosphere. The owner could probably get away with higher prices for food, but he has held the line on costs. Bravo. The bartenders, Savannah included, are fun and will remember you upon your return. If you're in Columbia , let alone the neighborhoods, you gotta try them out. These lunatics even open early in the morning for English Premier league and the news media camps out here when US soccer is making waves.

I recently moved to town and visited this place for their bangers and mash. Savannah made me feel like a regular and ensured that I felt welcomed and at home. This was by far the best experience I've had at a new pub in a long time! Savannah was funny, recommended great beer and was overall a great person!

This is not a sports bar. But there are several screens and always some games going on, and it's one of the few places where you can find soccer. Owned by a Scotsman so go figure. If you've been there and enjoyed a drink, including their vast tap selection, but havent tried the food, you need to do that. I'm blown away by the quality of food at reasonable prices. Try the hamburger steak or fish & chips! They also have pint night and trivia night (and even karaoke twice a month). An amazing neighborhood bar that people come across town to enjoy.

We were there for lunch, they have separate menus for lunch and dinner. I enjoyed my meal and Savannah, the waitress/bartender, was very friendly. Highly recommend the pimento cheese.

A Columbia staple! The food and service are EXCELLENT! Atmosphere is very casual and can be sometimes feel cramped at peak times since it’s a smaller dining room, if that is something that affects you.
