Great place to get some Italian! Have been coming here for years!!! Dimly lit atmosphere.Edit: I'm so sad that The Villa is leaving us. This restaurant was amazing and I loved it so much. Eating there tonight brought back so many fond memories. The food has always been spectacular and the atmosphere has always been stunning. I'll miss you forever.

Everyone ate different entrees, and all of our party were pleased with our meals. Fresh salads, and quick from the oven entrees were a pleasure to eat.Service from the waitress was a bit slow, but she was working the entire restaurant due to staffing issues. Not terrible, but less than great.

Place is closing so this won't matter much. Wasn't worth the hype. Do they plan to get food deliveries before they close for good. We were there right after opening and they were already out of items. Also we know the staff are losing their jobs, but do the job if your there. Tried to flag down staff for check, had to ask 3 times so we could leave. Never got drink refill and no staff at check in for 20 minutes, that should have clued us in. Make sure you have at least 2 hours to eat dinner.

What a treat!!! My husband and I went to try it out and it far exceeded our expectations. I had lasagna florentine and my husband had meat lasagna...both were very tasty! Did I mention the service? Outstanding!!! This will be our go to restaurant!

First time customer. Stuffed shells and cheese bread. I am pretty sure this is all out of a box. The cheese bread had no flavor. Nothing Tasted authentic or above average. Yikes. Avoid.

I went for lunch about a week or two prior had a delicious meal. Came back and got the same thing for dinner. It was the lasagna meal (lg) extra meat sauce. It is totally awesome better than some other local food chains. On my first visit I ordered a pizza to go and it was delish also.

EVERYTHING! Was amazing, fresh and had so much flavor! My salad had no dead lettuce and my lasagna was hot and very cheesy!! Overall the best! Worth every penny for sure !!!!

Our lunch group was here two weeks ago and several of us really liked the pizza. I told my wife I wanted her to try the pizza because three of us guys really liked it. So we both went back last night (friday). We ordered the Villa Special pizza and she ordered a small side salad with the Italian dressing, I ordered the greek salad with italian dressing ( I guess they don't have any greek dressing). I must've hyped up the pizza too much for her. She is a Chicago lady and does know her pizzas. She doesn't eat much sausage on pizza and it's rare that she finds a sausage that she likes. She took one bite of pizza and told me the error of my ways! She wasn't impressed. She said "There's no taste of any sauce...it'd dry...and I'm not liking the sausage!" I do have to agree with her about the lack of sauce. I saw no sauce at all...maybe it's a very thin layer buried under the cheese. He main critique on pizzas depends on the sauce, pull and taste of the cheese, and the crust. The lack of sauce really got to her. I really do like the cheese and sausage taste of it, but I have to agree, you don't taste the salt. We did get there early so I ordered a "happy hour Italian Margarita". Wasn't sure what an Italian was, but the waitress told me they add amaretto. I really didn't care for it, as it was sweeter, but I would prefer the regular next time. Waitress was slow in getting back to the table with our check as it got busy, but she finally came by and apologized for being so late. My wife said she'd come back and wants to try their lasagna or egg plant. I'm wanting to sample their spaghetti and meatballs, but I guess I'll have to forego the pizza when we come back.....since she's not gonna split it with me! Happy wife, happy life!

I visited the villa because of the reviews, but what I got did not match the reviews at all. The veal parmesan tasted like it was bought from a frozen food truck, the spaghetti sauce tasted like it was a cheap, canned sauce. My meal was over $17. I regret not making sausage and peppers at my house. This is more like a cheap cafeteria than an Italian Restaurant. It's too bad, because the staff was nice.
