My family and I came to Columbia, SC for our sons graduation from basic training and the first thing he wanted was pizza. Long story short, Very's is a diamond in the rough. The food, the portions and everything in between was some of the best food since we left Maryland about 8 years ago.

We went on the all you can eat night and it was really good spaghetti. Service was top notch! Things have changed some at Very's, but I enjoyed the vegetarian lasagna and the service was great.

I have been coming to this place for a very long time. They used to have an incredible Seafood pizza, however that is no longer on the menu but, their Philly cheesesteak is still there and it's still awesome.

Ordered cheese steak, lasagna and Italian Sub for pickup. Liked the cheese steak and Greek salad a lot. Lasagna needs extra sauce and fries should be ordered extra crispy. The Philly roll was like cotton heaven ? Will Go back!

The Melt was amazing. Was not expecting that kind of sandwich in the South being raised in the NorthEast (namely NY & Philly).If there is a negative note I could make, it would be the Philly Eagles banner hanging over the register. Should have been NY Giants! Haha!
Best restaurant in Columbia!!! Food is off the hook good, staff was AMAZING! I felt from the minute I stepped in the door like I was in the company of old friends. Can't say enough about this spot. It's old skool, down home, fresh and amazing quality!!

Went in to place a to go order. I had the 11" Cheese steak, and the beef Lasagna. The cheese steak was one of the best I've ever tasted! The Lasagna was cheesy, and had just the right amount of beef.The service was quick, and very friendly. I will be making my way back to this establishment VERY soon!

This restaurant had excellent service and food but it is very outdated. The ceiling has multiple water damage spots, the bathroom looked dingy, and the carpet had seen much better days.
