Great place to eat!! Fried green tomatoes appetizer was very flavorful. Prime rib and salmon dinners were tasty also. We never heard of it but saw it and the name intrigued into trying it out, we are sure glad we did!! Big thumbs up!

Listen!! My cousin was saying for the longest she wanted prime rib so for her birthday that's what she got. I was only able to find it here. She got the prime rib I got the regular ribs. We got the crab cakes, catfish bits and gator bites for appetizers. I had the salad with the crossiant and of course we had drinks. Hunny when I tell you everything was marvelous!!! The waiter was very attentive, professional and friendly!! We really loved it and will be back very soon!!

My wife and I went for first time on 8 June. Not crowded at all. Server was great. Food came quickly, almost too quickly for entree. I ordered 6 oz sirloin so as to compare same with 6oz sirloins at Texas Roadhouse and Outback. Wife have the half rack of ribs to compare with half rack at Longhorns. House salads were great and large portion. Sirloin lost to both TR and Outback. Tough, chewy, stringy. TR best of the three. Babyback ribs don't hold candle those at Longhorns. They dry and overcooked in parts. Less meat. Fried onion rings were really good and complemented by excellent dipping sauce. Portions of everything was very generous. Atmosphere at WS was very nice, however like so many restaurants the hard walls will make it loud when lots of people are present. Go early in week to avoid crowds. I may try another visit, but probably will be without my wife.

We called ahead and was told no waiting. Got here and obvious they are not crowded but told it would be 15 min wait when we can plainly see several empty tables and booths. The fried green tomatoes taste like it was leftover and warmed up so did the shrimp on top!! My grilled salmon was swimming in grease!!! The salad had big chunks of onion in it. Never coming back here. THEIR COMMERCIAL IS VERY MISLEADING AS TO HOW GOOD THE FOOD IS!!! The only good thing about this place is Colie was a good waiter.

Arrived at the restaurant and was told by the least friendly hostess ever, it would be 5 to 10 minutes before we could be seated. They were not busy and we could see three servers that were standing around socializing. When we were seated and ordered an appetizer, we were immediately told they were out of the Ahi tuna appetizer but were upsold on the entree. The beer order didn't work either, but the bartender did offer alternatives. So the hostess wasn't friendly and they were out of two of the three items ordered; things happen. Then the server came back and told us they were out of the tuna meal he had suggested. We decided at that point to give up and go somewhere else. Thought about trying to talk to a manager but it seemed that no one was in charge.

First time coming to this restaurant and wasn't impressed. Food didn't have flavor. I ordered chicken and waffles and waffles were hard as a brick. My family ordered the flounder and it wasn't cooked well. Only thing that was very enjoyable were the appetizers (gator bites and meatloaf nachos). Would probably try them again but no time soon.

2nd time here and my experience was much better than the 1st time. My server had a great personality. I loved the crispness of thr wings. The house salad was a decent size. Unfortunately, after eating 4 wings and the salad, I was too full to eat the entree. Excellent service and I will be back!!

The food wasn't the worst but it's not a place I'd go to again, the prices are pretty high for some basic meals like chicken with waffles. We had some pretty expensive steaks that came out cold, but after the long waiting we didn't care to ask to reheat it. They keep you occupied with the appetizers and croissants for the long wait for the food so that cuts down the waiting time but overall it's a pretty mediocre place.

If you want a hot date spot, good business meet place, or one to just step out of the every day hustle and bustle this is it. The food is good and consistent, atmosphere is posh and lively, the service is attentive and courteous. I had the grilled chicken with sautéed mushrooms and a salad, my friend had the BLT salmon sandwich. Both chicken and salmon were moist and cooked perfectly. All the dishes were good, not fantastic but more than adequate. Not a five star due to long waits, slow service, and Luke warm food. I would go back for a nice date night with my husband or with a group of coworkers for a night out.

Awesome wait staff, host could use some social skills (quiet, not rude). Restaurant was clean and neat with cool pics of the area from the past. The menu was pretty large as the options are endless. Took some time getting our order so coming here for lunch during the week could be a challenge. My burger was good but just missing something.?.? The staff was great and I’m sure we will be back just going to get something different next time.

What started off as a great experience ended terribly... we ordered appetizers that were served and my Mexican mules made by Brett were awesome... my wife and i placed our food order with another waiter named Matt... and it's goes downhill from there ... honestly I don't think the food was ever entered .. when asked about the food Matt said it was lost in the kitchen ... like WTF how do you lose food .. then he proceeded to ask what did we have ... had it been written down the first time this wouldn't have happened (my opinion) . Accountability is major and this could have been solved by simplify saying we will get your food out to you immediately ... It's bad when folks make a suggestion and I go and give the restaurant a chance and this happens ... we had to settle for Denny's :(

I work in Sumter where the original restaurant originated, many coworkers and locals raved to me often about this place. After my daughters basketball game we decided to stop in the Columbia location for a quick bite. After looking over the menu we soon realized this 'quick bite' was going to turn into a feast fairly quickly! We started off with an app of gator bites and fried pickles, both were amazing! The fried pickles had a great crunch while maintaining their flavor. The gator bites were equally as great! This was a fairly large portion as for an appetizer, it satisfied my husband myself and our two daughters until our food came. My husband ordered a prime rib steak and I ordered a seafood pasta adding chicken as well. One of our daughters had beef tips and Mac and cheese while the other chose the all beef hot dog and French fries. My daughters and my food came out first. It looked so good our mouths were watering at this point! Of course being the good parents we are dad and I had to try the girls food let's just say I would not have expected a KIDS meal to be so delicious and perfectly seasoned and prepared! Hubbys prime rib came out shortly after, unfortunately it was not cooked to his liking of rare. Our waitress btw Erica was AWESOME! She had stepped away to help another table when the steak was brought out but when a manager walked by to ask how our food was my husband expressed his dissatisfaction. She was on it! Before she could leave the table to place a new order our waitress came back and also expressed her apologies and agreed that his steak was no where near what he ordered. We had a great time here and this is certainly our new go to spot! My husband and I actually went to have a few drinks at the bar one evening because the drinks are so good they called our names to come back! I love a restaurant that is equally family and date night friendly! From drinks to food to the service we were pleasantly pleased with our dining experience!
