Kainan Filipino Eatery is an absolute gem tucked away in the charming downtown area of Conway, SC. This family-owned restaurant delivers a delightful and authentic taste of the Philippines that welcomes both those familiar with the cuisine and curious newcomers. The menu offers a satisfying mix of recognizable dishes (influenced by the Philippines' history with America) alongside unique delicacies like Kare Kare. They cater to all tastes with healthy, affordable options that make it a perfect lunch spot, as well as more indulgent treats. The owners are friendly and, clearly take pride in their restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the dining space is always spotless. Kainan has quickly become my go-to for something a little different that never disappoints. I highly recommend it!Parking: Free parking lot behind restaurantKid-friendliness: It's a family style restaurant so it's kid-friendly and I saw high chairs as well

Great food, great owners, great service. Our big group of male golfers called ahead to deter a long wait time for food prep, taste just like home cooked Filipino food!

this is by far one of my favorite places in the myrtle beach/conway area. even in larger cities it’s hard to find filipino food and to have a place that is not only authentic but SO incredibly delicious and run by such kind, friendly people is truly a gem. whether you’re a fan of filipino food, have been wanting to try it, or have never considered it i would highly recommend stopping into kainan

Steven & Grace Harrington have brought the best authentic Filipino food and experience to sc. As a retired chef who has brought other chefs , friends, and family here I have zero complaints. The food has intention and perfected simplicity. For people who don’t know about the cuisine they explain the dishes with excitement. Come get some chicken adobo , halo halo and share a great heart warming moment with the hardest working people.

I stopped here during my Christmas shopping since the smells emanating from the doors was mouthwatering. I've never had Filipino food, so I had no idea what to order. Lucky for me the proprietor was on hand to give explanations and suggestions from the menu. I had the beef with cucumber and veggies and it was FANTASTIC. The veggies were cooked to perfection and the beef was so tender and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend this place!

Best Filipino food in town. The halo halo is so yummy. I love that thier ice cream is homemade. Everything is made to order. The owners are super nice. The food brings back so many memories of the foods I ate when I grew up in the Philippines.

Food is so good it was my second time today. Everytime I’m in Conway I make sure to stop by. The owners are so sweet. I had lumpia so crunchy and tasty. And the beef caldereta it was so good. that even my picky eater 3 year old enjoyed. Definitely stopping again when I’m in Conway!
