From Texas and have had difficulty finding a decent Mexican restaurant here in the grand strand! Have been to Dod Hermanos several times and is consistently very good! The guacamole is awesome! Food fresh and good! Biggest drawback is they only have bottled drinks!
Orlando and his staff always give great service and their food is absolutely amazing! My wife and I eat there at least once a week. The price we pay almost makes us feel guilty for the quality and amount we get.

Let's start at the beginning. The horchata was delicious and creamy. The real winner, however, was the guacamole. Chunky and fresh with a perfect blend of everything guacamole should be. We had their lunch specials which included the chicken plate, burrito plate, tacos al pastor and a beef tostada. So much flavor, so much quality meat and just about perfect. Definitely need to eat there if you love authentic Mexican food.
