During a recent visit to Conway, SC, with my parents, we had the pleasure of dining at The Trestle. Coming all the way from Seattle, we were instantly charmed by its outdoor seating which offered a delightful ambiance reminiscent of a leisurely cruise strip, bustling with friendly locals, classic cars, and motorcycles. It truly made us feel right at home.As someone who follows a mostly vegetarian diet with the occasional chicken, finding satisfying dining options can sometimes be a challenge. However, The Trestle exceeded my expectations with their menu variety, catering to my dietary preferences effortlessly. The highlight of my meal was undoubtedly the fried green tomatoes, which I can only describe as “my jam”. They were so good that I highly recommend anyone visiting Conway make a stop at this restaurant to try them.In summary, The Trestle is a must-visit spot in Conway, SC, for its inviting atmosphere, dietary-inclusive menu, and especially for its exceptional fried green tomatoes. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it promises a dining experience that feels like a warm embrace from the city itself.

Mom, sister and I went for lunch. They were busy but it didn't deter us receiving excellent service and getting out lunch quickly. My sister got the coconut shrimp, mom got the loaded potato soup and I got the club sandwich. All dishes were very good. The red velvet cake is to die for!!

This was my go to place but since it's changed hands it's low on my list the food is constantly cold .

The service was horrible! There is an employee who seems to hate her job. She wasn’t helpful at all. There were kids' crayons and we had 2 kids with us, she didn’t offer them until we saw them. The dessert was good, but we ordered a latte and she gave us americano with half and half. They had no idea about the Latte and charged us $5 for one small latte. Yes, it is the only shop on that street with options, but I would rather buy a latte from Starbucks ( see how I lowered my standards) or bring my coffee from home. Also, they don’t have a restroom or they hate people and don’t want them to come in for their restroom.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly
Ordered a blt sandwich. It was very good, but they need to offer other bread. It was so small that the timato was bigger than the bread. Hard to eat because it kept falling apart.

Local restaurant and bakery with good prices and decent food. Bakery is overwhelming with so many delicious items to choose from.Parking: Historic downtown has limited parking due to narrow streets. But anything else would ruin the feel of the area.

It's always a great place for a good breakfast or lunch. Our server was very good. The atmosphere is like meeting friends and neighbors, very local & friendly. I just wish they were open on Sunday. There are very few local restaurants open for breakfast. I wish there were more.
