This place it beyond amazing!! Do-nuts are the best in South Carolina I recommend the strawberry cheesecake donut or the cheesecake brownie! I don't care if you live in myrtle beach or North Carolina this place it worth the drive!
These are the best donuts I have ever eaten in my life. They go fast, get there early. Just the plain glazed alone are amazing. They are addictively good; I think you could use these donuts in rehab to help wean off of substances, they are so very tasty!

OMG, Mama's Sweet Shop is complete awesomeness in a small package. The BEST donuts I have EVER had and I've travel far and wide! While you're there, have lunch too. One visit and I became hooked . Great place. Well worth the drive from Pickens! Highly recommend to any "foodies" who like to do what we call "destination dining". We went because we saw the donuts but also had lunch! There were 4 of us and we got a variety of dishes. Everyone was pleased with everything they tried. I don't see how they do as many items as they do in a small space, but they do them all well. Hint ..if you want donuts, call ahead and they will save you some..otherwise, when they are gone ( usually early) there are no more till next day.( They are made fresh daily). Also, it appears the brisket runs out early. Having just sold my baking business and retired ( after 18 yrs), I can tell you that you want to go out of your way to get here! ( Erskine College has a gorgeous campus great for an after meal stroll!)
Sheena has an amazing little coffee shop/diner. Small town country feeling. Food is always amazing. The Texas jalapeño burger is big but amazing. I recommend everyone try this little shop at least once! It don't get no better 'n' this.

I am a foodie and to me the taste of the donuts and muffins are not consistent... I would always get the strawberry cheesecake donut and one day I want in and the color of the cream and the taste was different so I stop eating there. Then a couple of weeks ago I decided to give it a another shot and tried an apple fritter and pumpkin and cream cheese muffin and it was amazing. I got the same thing today and the fritter has changed and my muffin was dry, the crumble on top tastes just like oil and the taste overall was not the same.

A small town donut and coffee shop that serves outstanding homemade and traditional donuts and coffees. The atmosphere of the shop itself contains comfortable seating and friendly staff to accommodate and fairly recommend products not based on pricing but of taste, I feel as if this place is very fine forba small town and would easily be a good replacement for any kind of name brand donut or coffee shop here in South carolina.With all of this said i will solidly recommended trying this shop and experiencing the same great experience I have had hereThank you

We just found out about this great little restaurant! We tried breakfast and donuts this trip but we look forward to trying their lunch and dinner as well! The grits bowl was very good and the banana pudding donut was amazing!!!
Greasy, soggy, and the ones they gave us with fruity pebbles cereal on it was so stale, cereal must have been a month old before they put it on the donuts. Was not worth $30 a dozen. Disgusting.

If a cozy coffee shop that serves almost anything for coffees and food then Mama's Sweet Shoppe is the place to go and it's also a great place to study for college or school in general. The service was great but when there's barely anyone there it takes a while for your food to be ready and the coffee's good but it could be a lot better.

My family and extended family frequent this restaurant, frankly way too often, and we have not had a single bad thing here. Their employees are so sweet and the food is definitely the best around. My family owns a local business, and anytime customers ask where they should go eat, we tell them Mama's Sweet Shoppe. ❤
