I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant today. The new owner, Ryan, and staff were awesome. Great crew. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the kitchen. Not only did everything look great the crew seems to really take pride in what they do. I actually did some work as a contractor for them, so I was not there to eat, however, the staff offered for my partner to try the food. Well let's just say the ride home was rough for me. He open his Togo pork sandwich and it looked and smelled amazing. I got to try some of what how didn't inhale in the truck. I will be coming back for lunch as soon as I am in the area. Great food, great crew, and pride in what they do.

Great service, food, and decent atmosphere. Quick service, food was great and hot and timely.
Unbelievable, thought I would try this place, ordered the smoked 1/2 chicken plate with potato salad and baked beans. After a little bit of a wait, about 20 minutes food came to table. Chicken was cold, cooked but cold. I said something to staff and was told it just came out of smoker and just walked away. After waiting for about 5 minutes, took my tray to counter and told them to keep it and walked out. Spent my money for nothing. I will not go back.

It takes a lot to get me as a regular at a BBQ joint because I usually know I can do better so when I tell you this is one of the good ones...
Stopped by a couple of days ago for a break during a Color Guard competition at the high school up the road. The food, service and all around feel of the place was top shelf. While we live an hour or so away, we'll be back for another visit soon!
Locally owned BBQ. Very nice staff.Menu is typical of a BBQ with all the typical sides. Hush puppies are a must. They make their own sauces so make a point of trying each one as they're all delicious.You can eat in or take out. We got a variety of items for home. Chopped pork and chopped chicken are both yummy.

MAYBE 3-5 DOLLARS MORE A SANDWICH THAN WHAT YOU WOULD TYPICALLY PAY ELSEWHERE, BUT FOR THE QUALITY OF MEAT, YOU WONT FIND IT ELSEWHERE. PAY THE EXTRA MONEY AND EAT HERE. THE MEAT ALSO SITS WELL ON THE STOMACH, THATS BECAUSE ITS REAL FOOD. GREETED WITH A SOUTHERN SMILE.

Visited Game Day with a business colleague and this is the best BBQ, Brisket Plate was excellent portion and all sides were top shelf...pickles homemade and potato salad and side of chips perfect...Just the right amount of smoke. Sauce bar is nice touch and Carolina Mustard best ever. Will definitely be back.
