While visiting we had breakfast here and it was amazing! So much so, that we went back for lunch on another day. The owner and employees were amazing and working hard the whole time. Very much family feel of the place. The food was great, all of it!
Food was excellent, slight issue in that we both ordered burritos, they mixed which was hot and which was mild. We did not bring it to attention, they were both good and not a big deal. Food came out quickly, but was freshly made and had excellent flavor. Place is clean and there was follow up as we were eating to make sure satisfied. Would recommend.

We come to Edisto a fair amount and Tortugas has become one of our can’t-miss favorites! The homemade chorizo (not greasy!) and sausage are not to be missed and the salsas are phenomenal - flavorful and spicy. Our entire family craves the house breakfast burritos in particular, but we’ve never had a bad meal here in the dozens of times we’ve visited for both breakfast and lunch. Do yourself a favor and go here often!
Hard to find good customer service anymore, but this place brought me back to .. before covid. I hope y'all rub-off on the other places. I will go back again. Thank
