“First of all let me say that I'm originally from Chicago Illinois. Chicago is a den a hub of delicious food recipes and all types of you know Delicacies. So when I came to South Carolina I was surprised to find out that the food is not so great you have to really search and find a great place if you want to have delicious spice tasty food. So in my search of great Chinese food I came across the Chinese Wok by random and come to find out their food was very comfortable and reminded me of all the delicious food Chinese food that I could get in Chicago. The place is small but you can dine in. But most importantly the food actually has taste is spicy that sweet that's hot and they serve it with a smile. I would recommend this place if you want to get delicious Chinese food. If you want garbage go somewhere else but if you want something that's going to be really good this is a nice place to go to try it out. And trust me for a person that comes from Chicago to give high praises to a restaurant in South Carolina like this it's a big deal so try it out, you'll be very pleasantly surprised.“
“This will forever be my favorite Chinese food spot. Food is always fresh, hot and ready by the time I get there. Boneless spare rib combo is my go to meal. The dining area isn’t huge but it’s big enough to accommodate 8 or so groups…more than adequate in my opinion.“
“Six of our ROMEO group were here for lunch today. I had been previously and it was the first time for the group. We were first in the door and ordered drinks. None of us had eaten Peruvian food (except I had been here once and had one dish) so it took a minute to look over the menu and decide what everyone wanted. The owner/cook explained everything and was great in helping us decide. I went with the same thing I'd had on my first visit, since it was so good (the Lomo Saltado meal with rice, stir fried tomatoes/red onions/ with beef and two good sauces for dipping. I also ordered the plantains which are excellent. We had another order of the Lomo Saltado with Chicken/Lo Mein noodles in a brown sauce. Had one order for chicken wings and fries rice and three orders for the Lomo Saltado Sandwich...which everyone went nuts over. I'll probably order that next on my return. Very small place with Peruvian photos and knickknacks around with a very friendly owner/waitress. The waitress speaks just a little English but the owner helps out. She told us about the Chicha Morado Peruvian drink and three of us opted for it. Very sweet, purplish drink made from the blue corn, bananas, pineapple, boiled down in water until the corn breaks up and gives off the purplish color. It was good...but very sweet (sugar added). Everyone of us were really surprised at how much we liked the food. I'd have to say this was a real find and probably never would have found it if not for a tip from a friend. Tuesday-Saturday...opens at 11. You really need to try this place out!!!!“

“This place is a hidden gem. The only good Chinese restaurant in the entire area if we're being honest. Ignore the naysayers, they are either trolls from competitors or so used to bad, overly sugary and greasy Americanized Chinese that they think that is supposed to be what it tastes like. The portion sizes are huge by the way, so anyone complaining about that should probably go on Dr. Phil.“
“Pleasant atmosphete with plenty of seating.Very courteous no matter who takes the order. Excellent variety of dishes most offer small and larger sizes. Food quality is high! Never a mistake on the order and I get two ample dinners from one small size Moo goo gai pan or broccali beef. 8 minutes from my house doesn't hurt.“
“As far as Chinese takeout goes, Egg Roll Express was very much enjoyed. The wait is not too long and the owner is quick and open to recommending items on the menu. She is also very flexible with complementing dietary restrictions.
