This is definitely a charming, family oriented restaurant with a southern atmosphere. Lizard's Thicket boasts an inviting and friendly staff that's welcoming and attentive. I have visited this restaurant twice on many trips to South Carolina, and although I have enjoyed the atmosphere, the meals I have chosen have lacked the southern quality I've been raised to love. I wouldn't say that the entrees are bad. However, what I have eaten there never met that fulfilling and satisfying flavor that southern foods are famous for.

Went with 3 girlfriends on a Wednesday night. Ordered the chicken tenders and some sides …Mac and cheese and fried okra. They were the best tenders ever. The sides were very taste. Our waitress was was very nice and kept out glasses full.

Me an my husband had went here when we got back from the beach and figured he would try something new well we both got food poisoning chicken was old an fish was way too cold
Very good and typical southern food. But they have the added specialty of grilled pound cake. I don't think anybody else has that and it capped off a nice meal. Prices were quite good too
