Woodstone has truly "cooked up" a Blue Ribbon restaurant and destination venue with their new Ownership and reLocation into the heart of Florence.Over the past several years (when normally it would decline), Woodstone has only gotten better and better.The food is HOT and FRESH,The wait staff is Numerous and friendly, refilling the Tea non stop sometimes.The buffet selection is amazing.Several of my favorites are the Friend Squash and Fried Shrimp!The pulled pork barbeque has flavor in depth and subtly.The hot and cold deserts are too good to pass up.Just these few positives above are what makes the LINE go out the door most days.If you haven't been to Woodstone in a while, you need to check it out.They are the BEST BBQ buffet in the Pee Dee!Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegatables to pick from, however make sure before hand if they were cooked with any non-Veg seasonings.Parking: There is parking lot surface parking all the way around the restaurant, if you come at 12 or 6 then it may be full!!Kid-friendliness: This is a typical buffet setting, so kids are more than welcome and if you have Picky eaters, they will find something here.

Food is majority good most of the time. We visit on Sundays after church The restaurant is always crowded. We were overlooked because our party used two entrances. The young lady was nasty and stated that we were overlooked because our party was incomplete when the check was paid and that is why she went to the next few guests. The young lady who seated us was not so friendly but our waitress Veronica made up for the attitude. I noticed that everyone is herded like cows to the holding area except those elites with brighter skin. The process should be addressed. We can now sit at the front of the bus instead of a dark corner.

We had a great time here! Employees were on it: we never had a table crowded with plates, our drinks were always filled, and they were all so friendly. The atmosphere was so friendly and warm with all different types of people. We felt very comfortable and welcome. We can’t wait to go back!!

Second time no chicken in the chicken and rice. They never answer the phone for takeout orders must go inside. No accomodations for handicap folks. Therefore they have to come in and stand in line for take out but I do think they are doing the best they can and will in the near future reevaluate their business to see how to accommodate folks better. Expecially handicap and senior citizens. Over all food is very good but if they start cutting back on ingredients to make food good this will hurt there business. People don't want chicken flavored rice with no chicken. They want th.e real good thing. Southern style. When they opened there business I wonder if they realize how truly blessed God has brought them such a business. Much more than they probably expected to accommodate. Blessed . Be nice . The public is greatful for you. You got it going on. Keep it up. Appreciated to all the good cooks and hard workers there . Cooking and feeding people no easy job unless you like what you doing and it's still hard work . From one who knows .???

This was my 1st time eating here.I had lunch with a special friend after she had some minor surgery.I do not eat BBQ but they had some good hot fish and tasty shrimp.The macaroni and cheese was ok but the fried chicken was a lil dry but not bad.Overall I was satisfied and will come again!!My special friend liked everything and threw down like it was The Last Supper!!LOL

Well after 2 years of nagging, my husband finally talked me into eating here, and it was worth it! I am a creature by habit, and I usually pretty much stick with a place that I like, and when it comes to BBQ my go to has always been Roger's! I rate my BBQ restaurants by their liver hash which is a favorite of mine, and if their liver hash isn't great, I don't care how amazing everything else is, I'm not eating there, and this place had pretty good liver hash. Their fried shrimp was some of the best I've eaten, and fried okra, fried squash, and scallops were exceptionally good as well! There was a great dessert selection and decent salad station too. The only complaint I had was how crowded it was but you have to expect it with food this great! I will DEFINITELY be going back!! Well, if I'm ever hungry again after tonight! ?

I'm a Florence native returned home for some good food. Things have changed. Was disappointed in seasonings. Barbecue was dry. Lima beans were bland. Rice tasted like instant rice. Mac and cheese flavorless
