Good food at a reasonable price. We were able to sit immediately and we’re served within 15 minutes of sitting. Fast friendly service with a great atmosphere. Recommended and will be back next time we’re in town. Stop on by and give it a try.

Had lunch here on New Years Eve. We were not allowed to order from the lunch menu so had to order from the dinner menu which was twice as much. They were out of a lot of menu items because they were prearranging to close for the month of January. I was disappointed with my limited options, only get two pieces of fish with the fish and chips platter.

We were here on a Saturday afternoon. We sat at the bar. Ordered Guinness beer and Irish shots. Server did not know the prices of several shots. We did not order any food. Food observed being served to other patrons looked very good. Shots were good although not sure about the prices. Loved the draft Guinness!

Busy pub but our family of 4 got right in and our server was soooo excellent and sweet! Food was amazing - we all loved our dinner choices and the drinks were good too. Not super family oriented but it is a pub after all. But was a fun little place!

The best Irish coffee I’ve ever had. It was clean and well-kept without losing its cozy, comfortable vibe. The bartender was handling a full bar with ease- we didn’t have to wait to get her attention at all. Several tvs with sports on.

My fish and chips was overcooked and the chips should have been more like steak fries instead of looking and tasting like they came out of a bag of cheap frozen fries. Supposed to be one of their specialties so they need to up the game on that menu item. My friends said the stew was very good. I would order that next time. The server was very good and continuously checked on us. Atmosphere nice. Would go back again. Was there for lunch.

This place is warm and so much fun. I recommend the Irish egg rolls.

Our boat tour captain recommended the pub and we were not disappointed. The shepherd's pie, shrimp platter, bangers and mash and seafood platter were all very good. Staff is friendly and service was pretty good.

I've been to this bar a couple of different visits now and it never disappoints. Great beer & food options with great servers!

Five stars all day long. This was the most fun we had the whole trip to Folly Beach and that is specifically because of the DJ who kept the jams coming ALL NIGHT LONG at Loft, the nightclub above St James. With a great crowd of people (a mix of locals and bachelorette/bachelor parties), a filled but not jam-packed dance floor, lots of drinks and shots, great service, and the right amount of energetic throwback jams and pop, it is no wonder we stayed here dancing til closing time Friday and Saturday night. There is a small cover but they will allow you back in throughout the night - it's so worth it. The bar downstairs (St James) is also so fun! They had karaoke Friday, great atmosphere, and amazing service as well. Have fun kids!

Good food, ice cream/shake shop is amazing!! We had some loud/unruly guests seated next to us, but that's no one's fault. The restaurant did try to get them out the door as soon as possible :) must try the fish and chips!!

Had a very good experience here. One of the better places I'm folly Beach. The food was pretty good, although it had lots of wheat products. I'd still was able to find enough good things for me to eat with digestion problems. However, I wouldn't recommend this if you have issues with your tummy Might not be a great place for you. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere is fantastic.Fairly slim pickings when it comes to food at folly Beach.

I do not have the luck of the Irish when it comes to this restaurant. We actually came on Thursday because they have cheesesteaks made by one of the cooks from the old Surf Bar along with some other familiar items. We miss that bar greatly and wanted to relive some of our fondest food memories from there. I think it is from 5pm or 6pm until 9pm(I know the time that they stop for sure - see below) make sure you check for yourself on the times. This probably made my 7th or 8th time eating here. The other times that we have came have been because all the other restaurants were full or had crazy wait times. How come every trip here they want to seat us outside instead of at the tables inside? This time was no different for our party of 6. We had arrived around 7:45pm asked about pulling 2 high top tables together, in the empty front room, and were told that the band was coming so they had to keep the area clear. OK, what about the next room with low tops? That did not go over well with the person seating us. They reluctantly seated us at the back 2 tables, there were others available, tossed our menus, and just left. To our delight and shock the only thing they were serving this night was a modified Surf Bar menu with cheesesteaks on it. We had a couple in our party that wanted the regular Irish menu but we hyped them up enough that they were willing to go for a cheesesteak. The first thing out of our waitress's mouth was that they were out of onion rings. That hurt because it was always my favorite and counted was strike 2 on this trip. Almost all of us ordered a regular cheesesteak and fries with maybe one chicken cheesesteak mixed in, along with Guinness all around. The Guinness was perfect, so we're the fries, but the cheesesteak was well below standard. There was a lot of chewy, thick, inedible, chunks with gristle. The only one that didn't have an issue was the chicken order. To top off the dinner we ordered a to go chicken cheesesteak and were told that they stopped serving food at 9. We told them that we were aware and that it was only 8:50. They flipped their watch over, hrumphed, and then went to put the order in. This was probably the best sandwich with a generous amount of fries, unlike ours, that we got to deliver to our 7th member who couldn't join us. I am glad we got a glimpse of the old Surf Bar food but it wasn't quite the same for us on this trip. I don't know if we will ever revisit this place unless it is a last resort or if we need a Guinness. Maybe it is a timing thing but I never see a wait for this place. Maybe others know what I am learning????

We really enjoyed the French onion soup and friendly service. The strawberry fields salad was bright and fresh. Amazing!
