The place is newly remodeled and looks great! The service has been great each time I’ve been over the past few months! They also have BOGO Sushi rolls for dine in!

Great sushi, first visit , parked behind building, liked the waterfall, the buy one get one rolls seemed like a good deal but rolls were a lot smaller than expected, sushi was very fresh though, service was great at first , but a lot slower later , full bar was nice option, hope to be back soon , thank you!

This place was horrible. The restaurant is sterile and feels like a cafeteria. The waitstaff rushed through and took our order but ended up not putting on two of our rolls. We had a few pieces of sashimi and a beer and the bill was $70 before taxes. Everything was thrown on a plate. We had a horrible experience ana will not recommend this place to anyone.

The sushi is always so fresh and delicious. There are so many different rolls that I always find something new and exciting. Our server, who is also a sushi chef part of the week, was very attentive and made some great suggestions. We had eight rolls to share between the four of us. We did not leave hungry! The manager stopped by our table and we had a great conversation. You could tell that they really care about their customers. This was not our first time and it definitely won't be our last time! Can't wait to go again.

Asian Summer roll - veggie, missing most of the good veggies. Have had these elsewhere and they're delicious- these are bland. Skip. The peanut sauce tastes like it's half peanut butter - definitely not your normal peanut sauce. Two spicy rolls - ZERO SPICE. bland. The sashimi roll was good but tiny. Would never pay $18 for it. It's a $10 at best. The sasuka drop roll was so tiny!! Good flavor but wouldn't pay more than $8 for such a small (super tiny) roll. The vegetarian rolls my family ate were very good. Won't be back.

We’ve had lunch there twice & each time we were not disappointed. The house salad with ginger dressing is so delicious. Everything we ordered had a fresh, authentic taste - the rice dishes, summer rolls & soup. Portions were quite large too. We ventured out & tried some sushi & was so satisfied. Server was pleasant & answered all our questions. Prices are quite reasonable, especially the buy one, get one free options. Would recommend & will be returning.

This location has an amazing variety of sushi rolls, sushi platters or even wings paired with sake. The restaurant has plenty of seating options such as the sushi bar, regular bar area, or patio seating. I came during peak lunch hour and the service was friendly, fast and fresh. This location has plenty of parking due to the huge shopping strip it is in. The restaurant is super clean and so are the restrooms. They smell clean and even have a diaper changing station for babies. TIP: BOGO SUSHI available EVERYDAY!

The whole place was dirty and smelled like dead fish from the front door to the bathrooms to the sushi counter with food scattered all over the counter to the glass case with dirty and finger prints all over to the obviously old sushi sitting in seran wrap half on half off. Our server was very nice but hard to find. The food was just ok. Needless to say I didn't get anything raw. I have a feeling this would have went much worse.

Lost its pre covid quality. Paper thin sliced fish of questionable quality. Vocano Roll had ground up fish of sorts instead of scallops. Genuine Downhill.... All at fairly high market prices. The only offset is the BOGO dine in option.

I have been coming here weekly for over a year with my friends. We all have the exact same sentiments and experience. The food is CONSISTENTLY amazing. They have never had an off day with the quality of food. The portions are a nice size. The waiters are extremely nice and outgoing. The owner goes out his way to check on you to make sure everything with your service is up to par and that you are comfortable. I highly recommend this location and we will continue to come weekly for the overall great experience.

So disappointed that you took a reservation for Christmas Dinner and when my party arrived you were closed. That is not good business!!!

We came to Akahana for lunch. It was a beautiful summer day in South Carolina. The restaurant is family oriented but couples can come to eat. I like that they have a diverse staff. The waitress was helpful with the food choices. The food was flavorful.

Has gone downhill. Not sure how this place stays open. Sushi decent but all other menu items severely lacking. Dirty inside.
