The people were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. They have a nice Cafe that is opened Monday to Friday right inside the hotel....the food was really good and cheap too lol. I did pass a lot of restaurants around Heritage if we wanted to eat out also. It was quiet and a feeling of peace throughout our stay there. We will be back again.

Those familiar with MorningStar need no explaining, this is the "Missions Cafe" and is finally open again like before 2020. Cooked breakfasts from 8AM to 10AM, cooked lunches from 11AM to 2pm, most week days. Sometimes closed Mondays due to events. Menu changes slightly from week to week as new menu items are explored and offered. Fountain machine was reinstalled with Pepsi products. Some bottled beverages including Starbucks canned coffee drinks, Bang energy drinks, Juices, and Gatorade, also available. For those not familiar, this is a ministry cafe, part of MorningStar ministries, the Heritage Hotel and Conference Center, and MorningStar Fellowship Church. You do not have to be involved with the church or the ministry to stop by during the cafe's operating hours to order breakfast or lunch. You can come and grab a bite, or a coffee, or a muffin, sit in the cafe with wifi, strike up a conversation or divine appointment with someone new, or order something to go to eat for later. Most of the people you will see are either students, staff, residents or other members and affiliates of the ministry. It may not be your go-to place for breakfast or lunch as a restaurant or dining out experience, but the food is good and very affordable as the ministry side is to create a space for fellowship, not a business intended for profit. And while this is part of a ministry, this is a cafe. Staff may be able to answer some questions, but it is not likely the best destination to go to for inquiries about the ministry itself, or for prayer needs and ministry for yourself. Everyone there should be able and willing to pray for you if you need it, but you would likely be better ministered to in that capacity if you reached out to one of the many pastoral team members or connect groups, or came to a Sunday service.

I eat at the Missions Cafe four-five times a week, as it's super close to my office. It's consistently good. They offer daily soups and specials, which almost always sell out. The coffee is great and you can count on really good food, with lots of healthy options. The desserts are also amazing. Occasionally, they have a lavendar vanilla cake that is not to be missed. The Missions Cafe is located in the Heritage International Conference Center, along with a cool bookstore/gift shop and another neat coffee shop in an old train car. The property is a really cool place to visit overall. They offer breakfast and lunch (no dinner), my recommendation is to go earlier than later as it gets pretty busy around 12:30pm.

The food is awesome! Lots of work along with lots of love and care goes into each plate served. God loving people work the cafe always with a smile and that is why I like the cafe at Morning Star!

Great staff, quite bite, and great food. Best part is, is that it's in the house of the Lord. So it is blessed always! ?

The Lamb was excellent, I enjoyed it a lot. May be some day we will get to a full leg of lamb.
