Delicious brunch! Healthy(ish) food that doesn’t sacrifice flavor. Lots of vegetarian options. They don’t take reservations, but you can call ahead on the day of to put your name on the list.

If Poppyseed is anything, they are consistent - I’ve now experienced Poppyseed on five occasions and each experience has been truly great. The waitstaff have all been kind and professional, and the owners appear to be there for every lunch service working hard alongside everyone else. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Poppyseed has now become the place we bring visitors and have team get togethers. When Local Dish closed we were looking to find another informal and friendly place - happy to say we have now found it.Running a restaurant is incredibly difficult - it’s an orchestrated performance that can be exhausting, but the owners and team keep showing up day after day and deliver. This restaurant is a compliment to this town and community and I’m grateful that the owners have put their heart and soul into creating something special.

We celebrated our friend’s birthday with brunch here today, and our waiter made the celebration extra special. The menu is very unique. I had the chicken sandwich with the market vegetables, which were both excellent. The croissant and biscuits looked amazing. Can’t wait to return

My husband and I usually head near Uptown for brunch, but this morning we did not want to drive that far from Steele Creek. We also haven’t found a brunch spot in Charlotte that we would go to more than once. We found Poppyseed Kitchen today and were absolutely blown away. The pastries (especially the spinach feta scone) were splendid, and the food tasted of fresh ingredients and was delicious. We also loved meeting one of the owners, Kate. Amazing family feel, and the servers were top notch. By far the best brunch/breakfast spot we have been to in NC/SC. We have officially found a place we will go to again and again and again!

I discovered a winning combination: their Iced Caramel Latte and Chicken Parm Sandwich. The latte was a dreamy blend of espresso, milk, and caramel, while the sandwich featured crispy chicken paired with tangy marinara and gooey mozzarella. Both were absolute perfection, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone looking for a flavorful treat.

I work near this area weekly and the smell alone has brought me in, twice!Unfortunately & honestly, I have been disappointed exactly both times! (Overcooked food)1st time I went BLT w/ potatoes. $12.( it was the bacon that was blackened, not "crispy" ) Hard to eat!2nd time, was the Bird Box Chicken Sandwich w/ fries. $15( Overcooked doesn't explain this piece of chicken! ) Extremely hard to eat!The flavors of everything I've tried were great & the options of sides were nice! It's the food being way on the "done side" that got me! I had to give a decent rating on potential alone! Friendly staff and pleasing atmosphere! Not to mention, The iced Latte was amazing!

I ate here like two weeks ago and I'm still thinking about how good it was. The service was really quick and the food was ridiculously good.

Quite possibly my favorite brunch spot in Fort Mill. The service is wonderful and it is a very nice kid-friendly option, which I appreciate greatly or I wouldn’t be able to go out for breakfast as often as I do. Their poppy almond muffin is a must have!
