Pete at Saltwater Market helped me out when I was in such a bind! He went over and beyond to get me oysters in time for an event. The customer service was fantastic and the oysters were wonderful! I cannot speak enough great things about this market!!

Shrimp cost $16.99 a pound. I couldn't believe it and their not from the Gulf! This is 3 times more than it should be.I'll let you determine their rating.

Very fresh seafood here...We picked up some Chilean Sea Bass here. Was amazing, also excellent customer service. Nice small business, felt nice deal w/ and support local small business.

Really want to support this local business, but can't. Came in Saturday looking to try a Weller Aged Ribeye. But at $35/lb, that was a little too steep. But I felt bad and wanted to buy some stuff. Got some shrimp and put on ice for the ride home, but they were small and when I peeled for gumbo that night, they felt kind of dodgy, but tasted okay. Can definitely get a better deal on wild-caught shrimp from HT. Also, bought some bone-in chops and also put on ice. Pulled them out Monday for dinner and they had already started to turn. Cooked them anyway but regretted it. The smoked andouille was okay. The bourbon ponzu was meh and not worth it. So across the board, too much $$ for what you get, and the quality on seafood and butcher were both iffy for what I sampled. Sorry. :-(

Had an amazing experience here today! Customer service is phenomenal and the freshness of the seafood is above par. I'll definitely be back for more scallops!

Skip the restaurants and treat yourself to some of the best groceries that don't require fancy cooking skills. Great ingredients make the meal fantastic, and this is where to get them!

Best fish market in the Carolina's. I drive 1 hour each week because everything is high quality and incredibly fresh. Saltwater gives back to their local communities and the entire staff is passionate about what they do. So very grateful for the Gastonia location as it is just a little bit closer to home.

Saltwater Markets located at 887 Gold Hill Rd I Fort Mill next to the Simply Self Storage facility (seconds from I77) is a fantastic Fish and Seafood Market plus Meats. They have a very wide variety of top quality seafood (I got their crab cakes today) with expertly butchered Meats, and their prices are very good for the quality you get.Very welcoming and helpful Staff as well.Highly recommended! Get your Steak and Seafood here!

I recently took a trip to puerto rico and had a sweet teriyaki glaze octopus that was amazing, I've been craving it ever since and it's hard to locate an octopus inland especially in rural SC but one call to this place and they were super friendly and told me they could get me a 5 pounder by the next weekend, I'm exited to try it out and I will update my review once I pick it up thanks a lot for the good service so far!

Love this place!! I regularly get the King Salmon and the Faroe Island Salmon from here for the fresh Sushi Grade and eat it, as is, with Soy Sauce

It was humiliated. Never had a problem with EBT card before or after. I went right across the street to Publix and there was no problem at all.

A little disappointed that the frozen sea bass that appeared to be a felet, was infact multiple nuggets frozen together. I DONT KNOW HOW TO COOK FISH NUGGETS!
