We originally drove out to Scott’s family bbq but unfortunately they were still closed following the passing of the mother. A quick search led me to Big Ts and me and my fiancé were not disappointed one bit! From the delicious sweet tea down to the delicious sauce that enrobes the special whole hog bbq they serve. This was my first introduction to South Carolina hash and it was just an umami bomb of pork flavor hitting my taste buds from every angle. The sides as well are just as amazing, we had the potato salad and mac and cheese and they were both great. Do yourselves a favor and drive out and get you some of this amazing bbq as you will not be disappointed when you get your first taste of that magical golden mustard bbq sauce!

So, I’m visiting family in Gadsden for the Holidays and asked for some “good” BBQBig T’s was PERFECT. I loved their generous pulled pork sandwich, had hash and rice for the first time and I’m almost embarrassed how fast I ate it, I topped-off my order with some of the most delicious fried wings EVER!

It's in the middle of a residential area, small dine in area, noticed many people were eating in their cars or had take out. Food was fabulous, wonderful people, just what we were looking for. Not sure if the food is good or not but this place has no DHEC score posted so we kept driving.
Amazing bbq in an unassuming little roadside shack with wood-panelled walls and various box fans to cut the southern heat. The mustard-based sauce was tangy and delicious. The Mac-n-cheese was like my grandma used to make, and the collards were the best I've ever tasted. Don't bother with the fries - they're nothing special. Food is takeout only - there's really no place to sit inside. But the food is so good you'll want to just sit and eat in your car. Worth driving out of your way for.

Best bbq I've had in a long time. Hash and rice was great. We order the smaller plate and had left overs for two days. The people were very friendly. They been doing bbq over 30 years. This is a must try on the Congaree National part area.

I can not say enough about this place. I have been eating here for years. When you get that hankering for some really good bbq or some top notch hash and rice this place gets it right every time. When you go make sure you have plenty of room to try as much as you can put down. The really jewel hidden at this place is there recipe for greens!!!! My grandmother would disown me if she ever saw this but this place makes green that will have you mad at granny for not cooking the like this!!!
